Pharmacodynamics

The drug is a narcotic analgesic, which contains the sum of alkaloid opium (50% morphine substance), because of which all its basic properties are due to the action of this element.

Omnupon has a pronounced antispasmodic and analgesic effect. But the anesthetic effect is weaker than that of morphine. Such an effect can be explained by the interaction of the drug with the opiate endings, as a result of which the transport of pain impulses is interrupted and the perception of pain sensations changes.
