Alantan Plus is a medicine that helps heal and scar wounds. Its therapeutic effect is due to the activity of 2 elements - dexpanthenol with allantoin.
Allantoin has keratolytic properties. It prevents unnecessary deposition of keratin inside areas that are prone to forming a thick epidermal layer. The substance accelerates the process of healing wound surfaces, stimulating the growth of new tissues, and at the same time has a protective effect and helps moisturize the epidermis.
Dexpanthenol is able to penetrate deep into the epidermis, transforming there into calcium pantothenate. The element stabilizes the skin's water parameters, increasing its elasticity and firmness.
Indications Alantan Plus
It is used in the treatment of various wound lesions - small cuts, scratches and cracks. In addition, it is prescribed for burns (sunburns or burns caused by photo- or radiotherapy). It can be used to prevent diaper rash in infants, as well as to treat dry or overly sensitive skin. It can also be prescribed in case of severe epidermal keratosis in the area of the feet and palms.
The cream is used as an auxiliary substance for atopic dermatitis, allergic eczema, as well as for ulcers in the shin area and inflammation of the nasal mucosa.

The medicine is released in the form of a cream, inside a tube with a volume of 35 g. There is 1 such tube in a box.

The duration of the therapeutic cycle is determined by the individual characteristics of the patient's disease, as well as the therapeutic result achieved and the tolerability of the drug.
