Overeating of walnuts

Overeating of pine nuts

Pine nuts contain in their composition all the vitamins of group B, which are necessary for the healthy functioning of the body. In addition to vitamins, a handful of nuts can completely cover the daily requirement of the organism for such microelements: copper, magnesium, silicon, iodine, phosphorus, zinc. These elements support the normal functioning of the heart, skin, teeth and digestive system.

Nuts are very caloric, so their daily rate should not exceed 50 g. When overeating, problems with digestion begin and intoxication processes develop. The main symptoms of poisoning with pine nuts are:

  • Metallic taste in the mouth.
  • Increased weakness and drowsiness.
  • Nausea, vomiting.
  • Painful sensations in the liver.
  • Dizziness.
  • Strong thirst.
  • Stomach upset.
  • Violations of the stool.
  • Damage to the mucous membrane of the esophagus and stomach.

To eliminate the painful condition, it is necessary to take activated charcoal or another adsorbent. Also, you should drink more liquid to remove the harmful product from the body. If there are problems with the stool, you can make a cleansing enema or take a laxative. If symptoms of intoxication persist longer than 3 days, then medical attention is required.
