Each eye moves (is rotated) by six muscles: four straight and two oblique. Disturbances in eye movements can be caused by injuries at different levels: the hemisphere, the stem, at the level of the cranial nerves and, finally, the muscles.

This is particularly characteristic, for example, for; amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which often debuts with one-sided distal or proximal weakness; spinal muscular atrophy (rare), polymyositis and myasthenia gravis.
A one-sided hanging stop may have a peripheral or central origin, and on this basis, it is necessary to consider the various causes of the onset of this condition.

A person can experience unpleasant sensations, such as pain and burning in the throat, increased thirst, diarrhea, nausea, attacks of dizziness. Mucous membranes acquire a brownish hue, sometimes cramps occur.
