To successfully reduce blood sugar, you can also use special sugar-lowering gymnastics. This method is safe and quite effective. Relatively simple exercises will not take much time, and in combination with proper nutrition will help reduce blood sugar for a long time.

It is known that energy is needed for muscle work, which muscles receive from sugars. If you give your muscles a dosed load systematically, this will lead not only to the normalization of carbohydrate metabolism, but also to a decrease in cholesterol levels, to stabilization of blood pressure, and to an improvement in well-being in general.

Gymnastics to reduce sugar is performed starting with 10-15 repetitions per exercise. Between approaches, you should take a break for rest and relaxation - about 40-50 seconds.

  1. Take dumbbells or weights, lower your hands to your thighs. Slowly raise your arms, bending them at the elbows and turning the palmar surfaces toward your shoulders. Slowly return your arms to their original position.
  2. Holding the dumbbells, spread your arms to the sides to the level of your temples, bring them closer to your ears, lift them up, and straighten them completely. Return to the starting position in the reverse order.
  3. Lie on your back, place your hands behind your head, bend your knees. Spread your elbows to the sides. Swing your abs, lifting the upper segment of your back off the floor. Your lower back should remain on the floor.
  4. Stand in a "plank" position, with your arms from elbows to wrists acting as support on the floor. Try to hold this position as long as possible.

After doing the exercises, you must relax, take a few deep breaths in and out. It is good to turn on light music and take a comfortable position for the body - you can lie down for a while, or sit in a chair. After gymnastics, it is advisable to take a shower.

How to reduce sugar using folk remedies?

Perhaps, most of us try to resort to folk medicine when treating any disease. High blood sugar is no exception. Well-known "folk" specialists suggest paying attention to such means that can lower blood sugar levels:

  • Leaves and bark of white mulberry - from these ingredients an infusion is prepared (like tea), which is taken before meals 4 times a day.
  • Cinnamon powder – it is added to tea, coffee, kefir or simply to drinking water, about 10 grams per day.
  • Oatmeal jelly – it should be drunk 4 times a day 20-30 minutes before meals.
  • Aspen bark infusion – drink instead of tea before each main meal.
  • Blueberry berries and leaves are taken internally or drunk in the form of teas and compotes, often and little by little throughout the day.
  • Walnut partitions - used to prepare an alcohol tincture. The course of treatment should not exceed one week.
  • Ground acorns - the powder is taken orally little by little over the course of one week.
  • Burdock rhizome - brew and drink little by little before meals.
  • Rowan berries - pour boiling water over them in a ratio of 1:2, leave for several hours and drink 150 ml in the morning and evening.
  • Dandelion rhizome - used as an infusion. Take a little bit throughout the day.

You can also prepare medicinal infusions and decoctions based on leuzea, nettle, Japanese pagoda tree, cloves, and Solomon's seal rhizome.

Many medicinal plants have a good and long-lasting effect of reducing sugar. For example, bay leaves, nettle, linden flowers, beans, blueberries and clover are widely used to reduce sugar.

The products based on the listed plants are relatively easy to prepare, and their effect is cumulative: therefore, you should not count on an immediate reduction in sugar. It is important to complete the course of treatment indicated in the recipe.

To prepare the simplest herbal infusion that allows you to lower sugar, you need to take a 200-gram glass of boiling water and steam 1-2 tbsp. of any of the herbs listed above. Drink the infusion three times a day, ¼ glass at a time. Those people who have already tried using this recipe note: even drinking regular linden tea according to the above method allows you to stabilize blood sugar within 3-4 months.

There is also a known case where a patient drank only linden infusion instead of regular tea three times a day. As a result, after sixteen weeks, his sugar level dropped completely to normal.

How to reduce sugar with lemon?

Lemon can be useful for reducing sugar if a person is not allergic to citrus fruits. Lemon can be simply added to a cup of tea (in this case, the piece of lemon should be eaten completely, along with the peel). In addition to tea, lemon is also added to other dishes - for example, meat or fish. The maximum permissible amount to eat at one time is half a lemon.

You can also prepare lemon-based medicines that help lower sugar levels.

  • Squeeze the juice of one lemon, mix it with one chicken egg, add a pinch of cinnamon. The resulting "cocktail" should be drunk before the first meal (60 minutes). This should be done for three days, once a month.
  • Steam 20 g of blueberry leaves in 200 ml of boiling water. After 2 hours, filter the mixture and add 200 ml of lemon juice. Take 50 ml in the morning, before lunch and before dinner for one week.

You should not reduce sugar with lemon if you have problems with your digestive system.

How to reduce sugar with bay leaf?

To reduce sugar with bay leaf, you need to choose clean leaves, without spots, with a good characteristic smell. Bay leaves have antimicrobial and antifungal effects, relieve inflammation, stimulate immunity and soothe. And diabetics use laurel to reduce sugar.

There is more than one known method of reducing sugar with the help of laurel leaves. Here are the most common ones:

  1. Ten leaves are poured with two liters of hot water, brought to a boil and infused in a cool place for two weeks. Take: if the sugar value is up to 10 mmol per liter - 100 ml, and if the value is more than 10 mmol per liter - 200 ml.
  2. Infuse a dozen bay leaves in boiling water (600 ml). Leave for 4 hours, well insulating the container. Drink 100 ml 25-35 minutes before meals.
  3. Boil 15 leaves in 300 ml of water for five minutes. Then place the boiling mixture with the same leaves in a thermos and leave for up to 4 hours. Drink the resulting liquid little by little throughout the day (this amount should be drunk per day). The treatment can be repeated after a day, but then you need to take a break for 14 days.
  4. Five leaves and a cinnamon stick are thrown into boiling water (one liter), kept on low heat for a quarter of an hour, cooled. The medicine is taken 200 ml daily for three days.

How do beans lower sugar?

Eating beans to reduce sugar is very useful. Even ordinary bean-based dishes can affect the normalization of sugar levels. At the same time, almost all types of beans have medicinal properties: red, white, black and green beans. Bean pods are especially popular with diabetics. They perfectly cleanse the blood of toxins and other unnecessary substances, strengthen the immune system, and prevent the development of viral infections.

The most popular recipe for reducing sugar:

  • prepare the ingredients - 100 g of pods, 1 tbsp of flax seeds, several currant leaves;
  • brew all the components of the medicine with a liter of boiling water and simmer for 15-20 minutes;
  • insist for 50-60 minutes;
  • Drink a quarter of a glass of the decoction three times a day before meals.

This treatment can be continued for up to 2 weeks.

You can also prepare bean pods. Pour one tablespoon of pods with a glass of boiling water, leave for 25-35 minutes, filter. Add a little honey and drink 150 ml up to four times a day, before meals.
