The ulna (ulna) in its upper part is thickened. At this (proximal) end is the incisura trochlearis (incisura trochlearis), intended for articulation with the humerus block. Block-shaped notch has two processes: a more massive posterior process - an elbow process (olecranon) and a smaller anterior process - coronoid processus (processus coronoideus). On the coronoid process from the radial (lateral) side there is a radial incision (incisura radialis), from which the head of the radial bone joins. Below the coronoid process is the tuberosity of the ulna (tuberositas ulnae). The lower (distal) end of the ulna ends with the head of the ulna (caput ulnae), from which the styloid processus (processus styloideus) departs from the medial side. The head has an articular circumference (circumferentia articularis) for articulation with the radius. The lower surface of the head is flat.
