Cancer (oncology)

Kist: Symptoms

The cyst symptoms barely manifest, at least at the initial stage of development. Signs of the appearance of a tumor depend on its size, location, composition of the contents of the cavity, the structure of the walls of the neoplasm and on which cyst is congenital or acquired.

Cyst removal

Removal of the cyst, more precisely, the choice of method depends on the kind of form it is related to, its size and, most importantly, the organ in which it is localized.

Lower jaw cancer

In cancer of the mucosa of the alveolar process, the lower jaw is predominantly affected secondarily. Primary cancer of the lower jaw, which, in the opinion of some authors, arises from the dental rudiment, is extremely rare. Often, when establishing such a diagnosis, the examination reveals metastases of epithelial tumors of other localizations in the lower jaw.

Cancer of the upper jaw

Most often, the cancer of the upper jaw arises from the mucous membrane of the maxillary sinus. As a rule, we are talking about squamous cell carcinoma, but there may be various forms of adenocarcinoma, cystadenoid carcinoma, mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the upper jaw.

Lip Cancer

Lip cancer is the most common malignant tumor of the maxillofacial region. The percentage of cancer of the lips in the structure of the incidence of malignant neoplasms in our country is 1.6%.

Cysts of the salivary glands

Cystic lesions occur more often in small salivary glands, less often in the parotid and submandibular salivary glands. A provoking factor may be trauma to the gland duct, leading to its atresia and accumulation of contents. The accumulation, increasing, presses on the walls of the cavity, increases the cavity of the cyst of the salivary glands.

Desmoid

In clinical practice, along with the term "desmoid", the term "aggressive fibromatosis" is equally used. Less commonly used are the following synonyms: desmoid tumor, juvenile fibromatosis, deep fibromatosis, desmoid fibroids, invasive fibroid, muscular aponeurotic fibromatosis.

Melanoma

Melanoma is a malignant neoplasm of the skin that develops from melanocytes - cells migrating in the early embryonic period from the neuroectoderm to the skin, eyes, respiratory tract and intestines.

Rhabdomyosarcoma

Rhabdomyosarcoma is a malignant tumor originating from a skeletal (transverse striated) muscle. In about a third of cases, rhabdomyosarcoma is combined with various developmental defects: the urinary tract (8%). CNS (8%), digestive system (5%), cardiovascular system (4%).

Chondrosarcoma

Chondrosarcoma is a malignant tumor of cartilaginous tissue. For this neoplasm is characterized by the presence of a cartilaginous tissue without signs of formation of a malignant osteoid.
