Vesiculopustulosis is a purulent inflammation of the mouths of the merocrine sweat glands.

Symptoms of vesiculopustulosis

The disease of vesiculopustulosis begins at the mouth of the sweat glands. The main symptoms of vesiculopustule are the formation of pustules in the mouth of the sweat glands of the size of a pinhead, surrounded by a corolla of hyperemia with a dense cover. Pustules first single, often grouped, quickly spread. The favorite location of the rashes is the axillary and inguinal folds, the scalp. In weakened children, they can spread inward, forming infiltrates with possible outcome in abscesses and phlegmon accompanied by lymphangitis, lymphadenitis, sepsis. With adequate treatment of vesiculopustules, the process regresses after 7-10 days.

Treatment of vesiculopustulosis

Since dense wrapping plays an important role in the occurrence of vesiculopustular disease and the resulting increased sweating, the treatment of vesiculopustule should be aimed at eliminating these causes. It is recommended to wipe the child's skin with disinfecting alcohol solutions, lubricate the pustules with an aniline dye solution, ointments containing antibiotics and corticosteroids. The general irradiation with ultraviolet rays, proper nutrition, restorative means are shown. In severe cases, antibiotics are administered parenterally.
