The most common urological symptom in women is hematuria, which is generally considered one of the most common clinical signs in urology and nephropathology.
Reasons
Red urine in women is caused by the following reasons:
- Cystitis - chronic or in the acute stage.
- Urethral syndrome.
- Endometriosis of bladder tissue.
- Idiopathic hematuria of pregnancy.
- Postpartum hematuria.
- Sickle cell anemia.
- Diseases of infectious etiology (endocarditis, scarlet fever).
- Diseases of the main renal veins.
- Oncopathologies of the pelvic organs.
- Varicose veins of the renal veins.
- Pyelonephritis.
- Urolithiasis.
- Glomerulonephritis.
- Kidney stones.
- Kidney cysts.
- Bladder cancer.
It should be taken into account that red urine in women can be provoked by completely harmless factors - food or pharmacological consequences (a course of treatment with specific drugs). If the diet included berries, fruits, vegetables of bright burgundy, red color, you need to observe the urination process. Usually, urine returns to normal color indicators in 1-2 days. If red urine continues to bother a woman for 3 or more days, if hematuria becomes total and is accompanied by painful sensations, you must immediately call a doctor or an ambulance.
