Almost every second person on the planet suffers from stomach diseases, among which gastritis is in first place. The diagnosis of "gastritis" has recently become so widespread that no one is surprised by it, and even more so you will not hear lamentations about where this misfortune came from. Maybe that is why the issue of finding effective methods and means of combating such a popular pathology is so relevant, especially when it comes to gastritis with increased secretory function of the stomach, which often "successfully" develops into a stomach ulcer. But the treatment of gastritis with high acidity with herbs and folk remedies, not to mention complex therapy with medications, not only significantly improves the condition of patients with this diagnosis, but also prevents possible sad consequences.
How does gastritis with high acidity manifest itself?
Inflammation of the gastric mucosa (gastritis) occurs due to various reasons, the main ones being constant nervous tension, stressful situations (after all, all diseases are caused by nerves!), as well as poor nutrition and uncontrolled medication intake. It can occur against the background of various acidity levels. Not only the symptoms of the disease, but also the methods of its treatment depend on the acidity level.
The symptoms of gastritis with increased acidity of gastric juice are usually more pronounced than in gastrointestinal pathologies with normal or decreased acidity, which are more difficult to diagnose. The most common signs of increased acidity are heartburn (a burning sensation in the stomach and esophagus) and sour belching (with decreased acidity, belching like a rotten egg is observed).
The acute course of the disease may be accompanied by severe stomach pain during and after meals, "hunger" and night pains, nausea on an empty stomach or vomiting when overeating foods that cause a sharp increase in stomach acidity. The patient is also often tormented by bloating, complete absence or uncontrollable increase in appetite.
In chronic cases of the disease, the pain is more of a nagging nature and is not always present. However, a feeling of heaviness in the stomach, bowel disorders (constipation alternates with diarrhea), weakness and dizziness are often observed. Often, against the background of chronic gastritis with increased acidity, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, and biliary dyskinesia develop.
Treatment of gastritis with high acidity with herbs comes down to normalizing the microflora of the stomach, stabilizing the acidity of gastric juice, as well as reducing the impact of various irritants on the gastrointestinal mucosa and, if possible, promoting the healing of erosions that have appeared on its surface.
Natural "medicines" for gastritis that are not useful for people with high acidity
When it comes to gastritis, it is very important to know the exact diagnosis, in particular the level of acidity of the gastric juice. Many people do not take this into account, searching for some universal medicine or using folk remedies simply "for gastritis". But not all such remedies can be useful. Moreover, some can even worsen the situation, causing an even greater increase in stomach acidity.
Take, for example, rose hips. No one doubts the value of its bright, teardrop-shaped fruits, generously endowed by nature with vitamins, minerals and various useful organic compounds, for the body. The leader in vitamin C content and an active assistant to the stomach in its difficult work, the use of rose hips in any form is nevertheless taboo in case of increased acidity of the stomach, because it has an irritating effect on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract.
The same applies to ginger, the healing properties of which are legendary. Ginger effectively relieves inflammation, has pronounced antimicrobial and antiseptic effects. These properties are very useful for low acidity, if you are careful in using it. But with gastritis with high acidity, ginger, due to its pungency, will negatively affect the patient's condition, causing pain in the stomach and increased secretion.
Sea buckthorn is another natural healer that helps with almost all diseases and saturates the human body with energy and vitamins. Sea buckthorn berries are especially valuable, as they can fight various inflammations. But these berries have a rich sour taste, as a result of which their use is fraught with irritation of the gastric mucosa and an increase in its acidity. Only sea buckthorn oil or an infusion of sea buckthorn berries (100 g of berries per half a liter of boiling water), which have pronounced anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties, can be of great benefit for gastritis with high acidity.
Or take chicory. Everyone knows about the strong stimulating effect it has on the gastrointestinal tract, helping the pancreas and intestines, relieving inflammation in the digestive organs, and having a general strengthening effect on the body. But, among other things, chicory promotes the production of gastric juice, which is important for low acidity, but absolutely not necessary for high acidity. At first, it would seem to have a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal tract, but over time, the patient begins to feel unwell due to increased stomach acidity, and the benefits of taking chicory are reduced to nothing.
And take plantain, whose properties to effectively heal wounds are known only to a newborn, because older children have already tried it on their scraped knees and elbows. The ubiquitous plantain has also found its application in the treatment of stomach diseases, including gastritis.
But this natural healer will be useful only when it is used to combat gastritis occurring against the background of normal or low acidity. Otherwise, a decoction or plantain juice can only cause an exacerbation of the disease, especially if there are erosions or ulcers on the gastric mucosa.
Decoctions and infusions of calamus rhizome are considered to be extremely useful for gastritis and other gastrointestinal diseases. After all, the roots of this common plant have a pronounced anti-inflammatory, wound-healing and tonic effect. But few people know that in parallel with this, calamus medicines have a noticeable choleretic effect and tend to increase the acidity of the stomach, which is useful for low acidity, but unsafe if the level of hydrochloric acid is already exceeded.
When treating gastritis with high acidity, preference should be given to herbal therapy, which not only has a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal tract and the body as a whole, but also prevents relapses of the disease, rather than provoking them. The latter are not only unsuitable as a cure for gastritis with high acidity, but are not even included in the diet of patients.
Medicinal herbs for gastritis
Don't be upset, because there are many plants in the world that can help patients with gastritis, accompanied by increased acidity of gastric juice. You just need to choose the right treatment and stick to proven recipes of traditional medicine.
Let's start with aloe, which simultaneously serves as a home decoration, comfortably located in a flower lawn and spreading its fleshy pointed leaves in all directions, and a natural medicine with enzymes and microelements that have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the stomach. The juice of this plant has an astringent, regenerating and strong antibacterial effect on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, while simultaneously helping to cleanse the intestines and improve metabolism.
For medicinal purposes, the juice or pulp of aloe leaves is used. But in order for them to be beneficial, it is important to choose the right plant and skillfully prepare the medicine. Aloe leaves acquire medicinal properties only by the third year of life, so the plant should be chosen no younger than 3 years. To activate the beneficial properties, it is recommended to keep the cut leaves in the cold for several days (about 2 weeks) (ideally - the refrigerator), and only then use them to prepare the medicine.
Some people recommend using pure aloe juice for treatment. In this case, you need to take 1-2 teaspoons of freshly prepared juice twice a day for 1-2 months. You can eat half an hour after taking the medicine.
For gastritis with high acidity, you can also use this recipe. Take equal parts of natural honey and freshly squeezed aloe juice (you can simply crush the pulp of the leaves), mix thoroughly and let it brew for a while. If you take this remedy three times a day, one teaspoon at a time, you can get rid of flatulence and increased gas formation that accompany gastritis.
This treatment can be combined with taking potato juice (also freshly squeezed, by the way), which, if taken on an empty stomach, effectively reduces stomach acidity. Or you can simply mix all 3 components in the following proportion: 2 tablespoons of honey and aloe and a glass of potato juice, and take the potion in the morning on an empty stomach. The combined effect of honey, aloe and potato juice has a positive effect on the patient's well-being, allowing you to forget about other unpleasant symptoms such as heartburn, belching, stomach pain and diarrhea.
Treatment with aloe and honey is not suitable for those who have increased sensitivity to these products due to the development of allergic reactions. Also, the recipes are not suitable for patients with various neoplasms, high blood pressure, exacerbations of liver and bladder diseases, with a tendency to bleeding and during pregnancy.
Another nuance. Aloe is a strong antibiotic, which, together with pathogenic bacteria, can destroy beneficial microflora, so treatment with it should be accompanied by taking probiotics.
Folk treatment of gastritis with high acidity with herbs is impossible to imagine without chamomile, which has long been considered an ardent fighter against various kinds of inflammatory processes, including in the stomach. In addition, the plant contains a unique substance - bisabolol, which restores and strengthens the gastric mucosa.
An effective medicine for gastritis with high acidity is considered to be chamomile infusion (1 teaspoon of herb per glass of boiling water and leave for 3 hours), which should be drunk warm throughout the day, 1/3 cup at a time.
It is also useful to make multi-component infusions, for example, mix chamomile and yarrow or St. John's wort, plantain and chamomile. The effect will be even stronger. Or you can just drink chamomile tea regularly, and the symptoms of gastritis will bother you much less often.
Chamomile is generally considered a safe herb. However, allergy sufferers and pregnant women should exercise caution when using it.
Marigold, or calendula, due to its astringent, softening, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, regenerating and antispasmodic properties, has also found wide application in the treatment of gastritis.
For gastritis with increased secretion of gastric juice, an infusion (1 teaspoon of plant flowers per glass of boiling water) and a decoction (1 tablespoon of flowers per 0.5 l of water, boil for about 5 minutes) will be useful, which should be taken 3 times a day as a remedy for possible exacerbations.
Calendula is useful for gastritis with high acidity and as part of herbal mixtures. For example, a mixture of calendula, chamomile, yarrow and marshmallow root (80 g) should be poured with 2 cups of boiling water and left for an hour, tightly covered on top. It is recommended to take this infusion, like the previous one, half an hour before meals for 3 weeks.
Calendula therapy can be harmful if used in cases of hypotension, anemia, and pregnancy. But in any case, you cannot do without consulting a gastroenterologist and therapist.
The herbal collection described above mentioned yarrow. This medicinal plant stimulates the flow of bile, relieves spasms, stops bleeding, and has an astringent and antiseptic effect. However, with increased acidity, yarrow is recommended to be taken only as part of herbal collections, and you must be prepared that its use can cause various skin rashes and dizziness.
Another herb useful for gastritis is St. John's wort. This plant has pronounced antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which makes its use relevant for many diseases. And gastritis with high acidity is no exception.
In case of increased secretion of gastric juice, it is recommended to use St. John's wort infusion prepared from 1 cup of boiling water and 1 tbsp. of the herb. The composition should be infused for 20 minutes so that it acquires medicinal properties. The infusion should be stored in a glass or ceramic container, and taken 1 tbsp. after each meal.
St. John's wort is a useful plant, but it should be used with extreme caution, especially when taken in parallel with painkillers, antiplatelet and some cardiac drugs, because it can change the action and effectiveness of such drugs, causing unsafe side effects. In addition, St. John's wort significantly increases the sensitivity of the skin to sunlight, which can lead to sunburn.
Contraindications to the use of St. John's wort may include pregnancy, taking antidepressants, hypertension, and illnesses accompanied by fever.
Wormwood is a fragrant herb with a distinct bitterness, about which people's opinions have always been divided. It was called a herb from both God and the devil, used for medicinal purposes, in magical rituals, and even as a poison for various parasites.
Using wormwood in the treatment of gastritis with high acidity, folk healers pursue the following goals: healing wounds on the gastric mucosa, relieving inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract, and easing stool during constipation due to the mild laxative effect of wormwood. As a medicine, they take a decoction or infusion of the herb, as well as dry wormwood powder.
Particularly popular in this regard is the infusion of wormwood, which is also called wormwood tea. To prepare it, take 2 teaspoons of dry or fresh chopped grass per 1 liter of boiling water. Infuse the tea for about half an hour. Use the composition 1/4 - 1/3 cup before meals. Frequency of administration - 3 times a day.
Wormwood powder is used in the same way; it not only improves appetite and gastrointestinal function, but also has antiulcer and anti-inflammatory effects.
Anyone who has encountered wormwood directly understands that such a unique plant cannot but have contraindications. And they do. First of all, this is pregnancy and lactation, after all, wormwood is a rather poisonous plant, especially if you do not adhere to the dosage in the recipes. Wormwood can successfully treat chronic gastritis with varying acidity, but in the acute course of the disease and with ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, such treatment is contraindicated. Thrombophlebitis, alcoholism, severe neuropsychiatric diseases are pathologies that exclude wormwood as a medicine.
It is impossible to imagine treating gastritis with high acidity with herbs without using a herb with a male name and almost human height, which some call Ivan-tea, and some call it narrow-leaved fireweed. Thanks to its excellent anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties, Ivan-tea has a positive effect on a sick stomach.
For increased acidity, an infusion of fireweed is widely used. To prepare it, take 15 g of fireweed leaves and pour a glass of boiling water over them. Keep the mixture in a water bath for about 20 minutes, then remove and cool. Take the infusion in the morning, at lunch and in the evening, 1 tablespoon.
Good results are obtained by alternating the intake of fireweed infusion (4 days) and comfrey root infusion (2 days). For comfrey infusion, take 2 tbsp. of crushed root and pour a glass of boiling water (200 g) over them.
If the herbal infusion is not to your taste, you can try treating yourself with a fireweed decoction. Pour 20 g of the herb with 2 glasses of water and let it boil for 15-20 minutes. After 2 hours, the decoction can be used as directed, i.e. drink 1 tbsp. three times a day.
Ivan tea also contributes to the treatment of the disease as part of herbal mixtures used for gastritis with high acidity. It can be combined with chamomile, yarrow, calendula, marsh cudweed and some other herbs that have anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects.
Ivan tea is one of the few plants that has virtually no contraindications for use. The main thing is a sense of proportion, because an overdose of this herb can cause diarrhea and sleep disorders.
Celandine will also be effective for various types of gastritis. However, its use requires care and caution. It is important not only to follow the dosage, but also to use it correctly, based on the exact diagnosis, which indicates the acidity of the stomach. If, with low acidity, preference is given to celandine tincture on alcohol, then with high acidity of the stomach, herbal mixtures, which include celandine, will again be useful.
The following infusion is recommended: celandine, chamomile, St. John's wort and yarrow herbs taken in a ratio of 1:1:3:2, pour boiling water over them and let it brew for a couple of hours. Drink the infusion in the morning on an empty stomach. Single dose - 0.5 cup. The course of treatment is 21 days.
Treating gastritis with celandine is quite dangerous, so it is better to consult a doctor about this issue first. If a feeling of discomfort in the stomach appears while using the infusion, a dose adjustment may be necessary.
You cannot use celandine infusion if you have bronchial asthma, epilepsy, and especially during pregnancy.
It would be unfair, when talking about treating gastritis, not to mention peppermint, which, in addition to its fresh aroma, can give you relief from painful heartburn, evidence of increased stomach acidity.
Most often, it is used as a medicine in the composition of collections for the preparation of infusions and decoctions. The following infusion is popular: mix 15 g of mint leaves and yarrow flowers, 2 times more St. John's wort and a pinch of laburnum, pour 2 glasses (400 g) of boiling water and leave in a warm place for a couple of hours. Before use, strain the resulting infusion and drink in equal portions throughout the day.
Or this infusion: take 15 g of mint, yarrow and dill seeds, add 3 g of St. John's wort and 2 g of marsh cinquefoil leaves. The medicinal mixture is ready. For a daily portion of the infusion, take 2 spoons of the herb and, pouring 2 glasses of boiling water, leave for a couple of hours in a warm place. Take up to 6 times a day, a quarter of a glass.
It is not recommended to get carried away with mint in case of hypotension. And in many other cases, an overdose of mint can cause exacerbation of existing diseases.
Melissa, known to many as a herb that has a positive effect on the nervous system, also has a calming effect on the stomach. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and digestive properties, it is useful for gastritis with high acidity.
Both the infusion and decoction of the plant are equally useful, which is drunk like ordinary pleasant-tasting tea. For the infusion, take 10 g of chopped grass per half a liter of boiling water. Infuse for 20-25 minutes.
To prepare the decoction, take 1 spoon of the herb per 0.5 l of water and boil for 15 minutes, then let it brew for about half an hour. Drink the decoction during the day, and then prepare a fresh one.
Tea made from a collection of herbs used for gastritis with high acidity also has excellent medicinal properties. We are talking about lemon balm, chamomile and mint, which you need to take 1 teaspoon each and pour a glass of boiling water over. In half an hour, the delicious medicinal tea is ready. You need to drink it during or after meals, sweetening it with honey if desired.
Melissa has virtually no contraindications, so it is an affordable medicine. Only men (it weakens potency) and hypotensive patients should not get carried away with it, and of course those who have increased sensitivity to this plant.
Many people know milk thistle as a plant that has a healing effect on the liver, not knowing that it is no less effective for gastrointestinal diseases, in particular gastritis and pancreatitis, because it promotes the healing of wounds on the gastric mucosa, removes inflammation and spasms in the gastrointestinal tract, reduces blood cholesterol levels and normalizes bile production.
In this case, both the leaves and the fruits of milk thistle are useful. Decoctions are prepared from the leaves and seeds, which are effective for gastritis with high acidity. And crushed fruits (sold in pharmacies) can also be simply added to various dishes or consumed 1 teaspoon up to 5 times a day during meals.
As a means of protecting the gastric mucosa and improving all digestive processes, it is recommended to include milk thistle oil in the diet. For medicinal purposes, it is taken for at least 2 months, enhancing the effect of the corresponding medications.
Milk thistle treatment is not suitable only for people who are hypersensitive to the plant.
Motherwort is a plant that gives us peace and good sleep. But its effect is not limited to this. The juice of the fresh plant is an excellent antispasmodic, reducing pain during attacks of acute gastritis. It should be taken three times a day, 1 teaspoon half an hour before meals, with a small amount of water.
To improve digestion, regulate acidity levels and relieve heaviness in the stomach, motherwort infusion is recommended. To prepare it, brew 2 teaspoons of the herb with 2 cups of boiling water and leave for at least 6 hours. Take the infusion half an hour before meals, a quarter of a glass. Frequency of administration is 3-4 times a day.
Motherwort, like lemon balm, is not suitable for patients with consistently low blood pressure, as well as for those who experience allergic reactions to the plant.
Using aloe as an example, we know that not only wild plants but also indoor plants help us fight gastritis, without which almost no apartment or office can do. A striking example of such a "house" plant with unusual snow-white flowers is the golden mustache.
Thanks to its composition rich in useful substances, golden mustache has found wide application in the therapy of many diseases, including pathologies of the digestive system, in which the secretion of gastric juice is disrupted. In case of gastritis with high acidity, medicines from golden mustache help relieve stomach pain, relieve inflammation and irritation of the mucous membrane, normalize acidity, also exhibiting aseptic properties.
For therapeutic purposes, a decoction of the plant leaves is used. For medicinal purposes, an adult plant is taken, which has at least 9 internodes. The leaves should also not be young, ideally the length of the leaf should be about 20 cm. Such a leaf is poured with 3 and a half glasses of boiling water (a glass of 200 g) and kept on low heat for about 15 minutes.
Take the infusion in the morning, at lunch and in the evening 30 minutes before meals for 10 days.
The medicine should be taken with caution, as it can negatively affect the condition of the vocal cords. In addition, the properties of the plant and its interaction with other plants and medications have not yet been fully studied, so treatment should be started with small doses, constantly monitoring your health.
And not only herbs...
The thing is that not only grass, leaves, flowers and fruits of plants, but also their roots and even bark can have medicinal properties for gastritis. Therefore, the treatment of gastritis with high acidity with herbs involves the use of various parts of plants. Here are some examples of such medicines.
The well-known spice cinnamon, which is actually the dried bark of an evergreen tree called cinnamomum, is capable of not only giving an exquisite aroma to many dishes and baked goods (especially with apples!), but is also a “professional” natural healer.
Thanks to its antibacterial properties, it helps the body fight various harmful bacteria and inflammations that these microorganisms cause, which is important if gastritis is caused by the bacterium Helicobacter Pilori. Even a small amount of cinnamon powder added to various dishes helps digest food, prevents colic and bloating, and eliminates such an unpleasant and inconvenient symptom as diarrhea.
Using cinnamon in cooking, as well as as a medicine, also helps to reduce stomach acidity. As a medicine, cinnamon can be used as an infusion or as a healing treat, eating 2 tablespoons of natural honey every day, generously sprinkling it with ground spice.
To prepare the infusion, brew a teaspoon of cinnamon powder (or grated sticks) with 2 cups of boiling water and leave for an hour. It is recommended to take this infusion every time before meals 4 times a day. You need to drink half a glass at a time.
Treatment with cinnamon has very few contraindications. These are internal bleeding, including in the gastrointestinal tract (it can be used in small quantities), pregnancy (there is a risk of miscarriage), and also hypersensitivity to this spice.
And in case of erosive gastritis, which is caused by increased acidity of the stomach, oak bark has a positive effect. Thanks to the tannins contained in oak bark, a decoction of the bark relieves inflammation and swelling of the gastric mucosa, protecting it from irritation and accelerating the recovery processes in the tissues of the stomach.
For the decoction, take a handful of crushed oak bark, add a liter of water and boil the mixture for 10 minutes. Drink the decoction cooled, ½ cup half an hour before meals. Alternatively, you can consider taking the medicine an hour after eating.
Treatment with oak bark decoction may occasionally be accompanied by nausea. But this treatment is not suitable for children at all.
There are plants in nature, all parts of which have a beneficial effect on gastritis. Such plants include burdock and licorice.
In folk medicine, medicines made from burdock root are widely used. These medicines include decoction and infusion from the root of a young plant. To prepare them, take 1 teaspoon of raw material per glass (for decoction) or 2 glasses (for infusion) of water. The infusion, if made in a thermos, will be ready in a couple of hours, otherwise you will have to wait for the result for about 12 hours. And the decoction should be kept at a low boil for 10 minutes, and it is ready for use. You need to drink medicinal potions from burdock root at least 3 times a day for a month to stabilize the gastrointestinal tract and normalize stomach acidity.
An infusion made from burdock leaves will help relieve nausea and stomach pain due to increased acidity of gastric juice. By the way, they can even be used in salads and soups, as the wise Japanese do.
You can protect the mucous membrane from the aggressive effects of hydrochloric acid and normalize stomach functions with the help of burdock juice. For a full course of treatment, you need to take half a tablespoon of the plant juice 3 times a day for one and a half months.
An important fact is that this fairly common plant has virtually no contraindications for use, which means that everyone can improve their health with its help effectively and economically.
Sometimes recipes for different diseases may overlap. This is the case with recipes based on licorice root. For example, a potion useful for coughs and bronchitis can also normalize stomach acidity. It is prepared by pouring 20 g of crushed root with a glass of boiling water and keeping the mixture in a water bath for 20 minutes. After this, it is recommended to wait a couple more hours and strain the decoction through gauze or a thick sieve. After all the manipulations, add 1 glass of boiled cooled water to the medicine. Store the potion in a glass container in the cold. Drink 2 tbsp. before each meal.
To normalize acidity and completely eliminate gastritis symptoms, a month of treatment is usually enough. Sometimes, however, a repeat course may be necessary.
For gastritis with high acidity, it is advisable to include chamomile and licorice root teas in your diet. Making licorice tea is easy, just pour a pinch of crushed raw materials with a glass of boiling water and leave for about an hour.
The juice from the plant leaves is also useful for gastritis. Add 2-3 drops of juice to half a glass of warm water and drink warm during the day in 3 doses.
Treatment with licorice is contraindicated for pregnant women and people suffering from high blood pressure.
Benefits of gastric infusions
In the treatment of gastritis with high acidity, a place of honor is given to such a medicine as gastric collection. This is a generalized concept that combines compositions of leaves, flowers, roots and bark of plants that have a beneficial effect on the gastric mucosa and the digestion process itself.
Gastric collections from different manufacturers can be found in pharmacies, but often gastritis patients use collections of their own preparation according to folk recipes. Multi-component collections allow you to influence the problem from all sides, which makes gastritis therapy even more effective.
For gastritis with high acidity, an effective collection is one consisting of equal parts of chamomile, calendula, yarrow, horsetail, lemon balm and nettle leaves, fireweed, immortelle, to which are added corn silk, calamus root and plantain leaves. The last two components in their pure form are unacceptable for use with high acidity of the stomach, since they provoke increased production of hydrochloric acid. However, in the composition of the herbal collection, which contains plants that reduce acidity, calamus and plantain effectively help the stomach cope with the disease.
In case of acute gastritis, which occurs with increased acidity of the stomach, we can recommend a collection of only 4 components: chamomile, calendula, succession and yarrow, which quickly and effectively relieve muscle spasms, relieving the patient of pain. At the same time, heartburn and nausea also quickly go away. It is enough to pour 2 spoons of the collection with ½ liter of boiling water and leave for 20 minutes. Take the infusion during the day, 150 ml.
Homeopathy for Gastritis
In mathematics, there is a variant of proof of truth - by contradiction. The same principle is the basis of homeopathy. Homeopathic remedies include tiny amounts of substances that in significant doses cause symptoms of the disease in healthy people, against which the action of a certain homeopathic remedy is directed.
Therefore, it is not surprising that gastritis with increased secretion of gastric juice is treated with capsicum, which is the basis of the homeopathic preparation Capsicum Annum. 3, 6 and 12 dilutions are used.
Heartburn, nausea, vomiting and belching that accompany acid gastritis can be eliminated with the help of the drug Natrium Phosphoricum, used in the same dilutions.
To reduce the production of hydrochloric acid and also relieve stomach pain, use the drug Argentum nitricum in 3 or 6 dilutions.
Homeopathic remedies Colocynth 3X and Bismuth 2, used according to the prescriptions of a homeopathic doctor, will help relieve pain associated with gastritis with high acidity.
Nux vomica also effectively helps to reduce the acidity of gastric juice. It is used in 3, 6 and 12 dilutions.
For severe deep pain in the stomach that interferes with eating and increases with movement, the homeopathic remedy Bryonia 3X in the 3rd dilution helps well. It is usually prescribed for severe, acute inflammatory processes.
Sometimes gastritis with high acidity is accompanied by cramping pains in the abdomen. In this case, the homeopathic medicine Plumbum in 6 or 12 dilution is prescribed to relieve spasms.
As we see, homeopathic science is well-equipped with various means of combating one of the diseases of the century, called in medical terminology gastritis with increased secretory function of the stomach. Moreover, this concerns both its acute and chronic forms.
Considering the variety of homeopathic remedies and the specifics of their use depending on the course of the disease and the constitutional features of the patient, it becomes clear that only a specialist can prescribe an effective medicine. Yes, homeopathic remedies have virtually no side effects or contraindications, but this is not a reason to prescribe them to yourself, because the main thing in treatment is not the process, but the result.
Treatment of gastritis with high acidity with herbs and homeopathic therapy as prescribed by a therapist and homeopathic doctor should go hand in hand with traditional medicinal and spa treatment, adherence to a special diet, and a healthy lifestyle. Only in such conditions can one count on a positive result in the fight against the disease.
