Symptoms of a solar burn of a retina
- Visual acuity is variable according to the severity of the lesion.
- Initially, it is located on one or both eyes in the foveal small, yellow spots with a green edge.
- After about 2 weeks, a limited pigmentary mottle and lamellar rupture are revealed.
The prognosis of a solar burn of a retina, as a rule, good. Restoration of vision to normal or close to this occurs within 6 months, although some symptoms of sunburn may persist.
