Removal of lipomas is necessary when they cause pain or spoil the aesthetics of the body.
They are located under the skin. A lipoma is a small soft formation, the size of a pea or slightly larger. It is correct to call a lipoma a lipoma, which means a benign growth of subcutaneous fat. A lipoma can be removed without much difficulty. It can be distinguished from an inflamed lymph node by the following signs: it never, except for complications, causes a rise in body temperature. Subcutaneous pimples and lipomas are also not the same thing. Subcutaneous pimples "love" the chin. They occur when the sebaceous glands are blocked and an infection occurs.
A bulge on the skin is especially annoying for ladies, because it looks so unattractive! Why does this misfortune appear? The whole reason is our improper diet and physical inactivity. Lipoma is an accumulation of toxins that the body removes too slowly. That is how lipomas appear on the body, arm, face. They can reach large sizes - more than 10 cm, disfigure the face and limbs. There are lipomas on the mammary glands and even inside - for example, in the lungs or spinal canal. Then, if there are no complaints, they are not touched. The main complaint of people suffering from lipomas is an aesthetic defect.

Methods of removing lipomas
Nobody wants to go to the surgeon, so everyone first tries to cope with the neoplasm at home. It doesn’t always work, but we will tell you how you can try to remove lipomas at home.
Apply a leaf of the Golden Whisker plant to the tumor, wrap it and leave it for 12 hours.
Garlic should be crushed to a pulp and rubbed in every day until the growth disappears.
If the lipoma is large, go to a surgeon. First, it is best to take a sample of the tumor contents to make sure that we are not dealing with oncology. You can also do an ultrasound for this, but it is less reliable.
So, the examination showed that it is a lipoma. At the next appointment, the doctor will inject a medicine into the lipoma that will dissolve the tumors. This helps if the lipoma is of medium size. But to remove large tumors, surgery is needed. If the removal is not done with a laser, but with a scalpel, of course, a scar will remain. It is important to remove not only the lipoma, but also its capsule, otherwise a relapse cannot be avoided.
Removal of small lipomas requires an anesthetic injection. Hospitalization is not necessary. Large lipomas are removed in a hospital under general anesthesia. Postoperative infections are very rare, as a rule, there are no complications. Complete healing takes 10-12 days.
It is necessary to come to the operation with a full package of tests: a general blood test, a Wasserman reaction for syphilis, an analysis for HIV and hepatitis B and C.
Do not remove large lipomas at home - they tend to grow. You can also introduce an infection.
Laser removal of lipoma
Fast removal of a lipoma is possible today with the help of a laser. The advantage of the method is that it is bloodless.
You can find a lipoma yourself: it is a mobile formation consisting of fatty tissue. An enlarged lipoma can affect nerve endings, squeezing them and disrupting the sensitivity of this area. Lipoma is more common in women. After removing a small neoplasm with a laser, there will be no traces left, you will forget about it very quickly. The laser removes both the tumor and the capsule.
A lipoma must be excised if it grows quickly or compresses surrounding tissues and nerve endings. Contraindications for removal: diabetes, HIV and pregnancy.
Laser removal of lipomas does not require general anesthesia. The skin is cut with a laser, the edges of the cut are spread apart, the tumor is grasped with a clamp and the lipoma is enucleated along with the capsule. The procedure lasts only 25 minutes on average.
Sometimes hereditary lipomatosis occurs. In this case, the head and shoulders are not affected. Tumors in hereditary lipomatosis are round, mobile, their diameter is more than 5 cm.
Lipomas come in the following types:
- Lipofibroma.
- Fibrolipoma is a denser tumor than lipofibroma, mostly found on the leg.
- Angiolipoma is a type of lipoma that forms on internal organs and glands.
- Myolipoma – forms in the deep layers of muscle tissue.
- Myelolipoma is a dense tumor that occurs mainly in the retroperitoneal space. It consists of fatty and bone tissue.
Lipomas are formed, therefore, not only on the skin. Their localization can be very diverse, on any organ. There are lipomas inside the mammary glands, on the gastrointestinal tract, in the chest cavity, in the bone marrow, in the membranes of the brain, in the liver, near large nerves. The size of a lipoma can reach the size of an orange. Lipomas on legs are dangerous because of their torsion. If they are located on any internal organ, this always affects its function.
After removing the lipoma, it is advisable to conduct a histological examination to avoid diagnostic errors and not miss cancer.
In older age, existing lipomas grow faster. There is evidence that lipomas can degenerate into a malignant tumor.
The laser incision during lipoma excision surgery is very small. In a good clinic, absolutely all materials are disposable. A carbon dioxide laser is most often used to remove lipoma.
Lipoma removal surgery
The cause of the formation of lipomas is a systemic metabolic disorder in adipose tissue due to pancreatitis, liver and thyroid diseases, and diabetes.
Most often, you can find lipomas on the back, legs, and face. These are painless (if small in size) nodules, the skin around them is not inflamed. The tumor inside is filled with soft contents.
The most effective treatment for a fatty tumor, or lipoma, is surgery. The surgery is performed as follows: the surgical field is treated, the patient is given local or general anesthesia, the surgeon cuts the skin with a scalpel, removes the overgrown fatty tissue, sutures the wound and applies a pressure bandage. The stitches are removed on the 10th-12th day. Sometimes self-absorbing threads are used for suturing.
There is a risk of bleeding after the operation. It can be reduced by using a laser or radio wave method. In order to prevent fluid accumulation, in some cases drainage is applied after the removal of the lipoma. Removal of lipomas may be accompanied by a slight increase in temperature. If swelling and a rise in body temperature to high numbers occur, contact a surgeon - inflammation may have occurred. Antibiotics are almost always prescribed to prevent this.
In medical practice, there have been cases of removing lipomas weighing 10 kg! Such lipomas can lead to edema and tissue necrosis. Sometimes there are life-threatening lipomas, for example, a neck lipoma that squeezes the respiratory organs with a ring.
A superficial lipoma is soft and does not cause pain. If a lipoma is injured or compressed (for example, when porters constantly compress the skin on the back), it can begin to grow.
A lipoma diagnosis should be made by a doctor. If it is small and you want to try to get rid of it at home, still see a surgeon. A non-professional can confuse a lipoma with a malignant tumor. It is not worth risking your health.
Lipoma symptoms are similar to another benign tumor called atheroma. Only a doctor can tell the difference, do not try to rely on photos you see on the Internet, advice from friends and acquaintances with "exactly the same symptoms."
Removing a lipoma with folk remedies
Lipomas arise due to hereditary factors, metabolic disorders and trauma. Traditional medicine believes that it is sometimes possible to get rid of lipomas by fasting. Official medicine is of the opinion that there is no other method of removing lipomas except surgery. In recent years, drugs have been developed that, when injected into the lipoma, lead to its resorption.
Here are some folk remedies against lipomas:
- Honey and sour cream mask. Apply a mixture of sour cream, honey and salt in equal parts to the place where the neoplasm has “popped up”. Keep for 25 minutes. The course consists of 10 procedures.
- Apply a fresh leaf of Kalanchoe, cutting it lengthwise. Carry out the procedure until the lipoma disappears. Fix the leaf with a bandage. You can apply an aloe leaf in the same way. Do the procedure at night. It may take 2-3 weeks to get rid of the lipoma using this method. After 3 weeks, a rod will remain at the site of the tumor, which will gradually be removed. After this, a hole will remain, which will heal for some time.
- Bake a fresh onion in the oven, grind it in a meat grinder and apply it as a compress to the wen.
- The tumor can be cauterized with celandine or garlic juice.
- A small lipoma, no larger than a pinhead (milium), can be removed by wiping a needle with alcohol, piercing the tumor with the tip of the needle and squeezing it out with a cotton swab. Wipe the hole that remains after squeezing with alcohol, vodka or cologne. This method is only suitable for very small lipomas.
Radio wave removal of lipoma
Removal of lipomas by radio wave method is possible if their size is no more than 6 cm. Removal is performed under local anesthesia. After that, the lipoma is removed with a capsule using a radio knife. A radio knife is a tungsten thread through which current is passed. It can cut vessels and coagulate them. First, the surgical field is treated with antiseptics, then the tumor is injected with an anesthetic, the skin is dissected, and the lipoma is enucleated layer by layer together with the capsule. The radio wave method is bloodless. It leaves no scars. It provides an excellent cosmetic effect. The procedure is almost completely painless, so the anesthetic is administered rather to keep the patient calm. The vessels are immediately sealed, so blood loss is minimal. The incision is made without pressure, unlike laser and traditional surgical intervention. The method of treating benign neoplasms using radio waves is currently the most progressive and non-traumatic. The radio wave has a disinfecting effect on the wound. There is almost no swelling, no scars, the new tissue is no different from the surrounding tissue. The method is contraindicated for those who have metal prostheses in the body, acute infectious diseases and diabetes.
Why is it necessary to remove lipomas? The fact is that a fatty tumor, or lipoma, can become necrotic and compress nearby organs. The neoplasm appears when the cells of adipose tissue divide uncontrollably.
Cosmetic removal of lipomas
Removal of lipomas - benign fatty tumors, especially on the face, is always desirable to be done with the maximum cosmetic effect. Lipomas, or lipomas, as a rule, do not pose a health hazard if they are small in size. Neoplasms can be hereditary or occur due to certain diseases and metabolic disorders. If the tumor becomes inflamed, it increases in size, sometimes so significantly that it causes discomfort. It can turn red and become swollen.
A lipoma on the face can be removed at your place of residence or in a cosmetology and plastic surgery clinic. To make the scar invisible, an endoscopic technique is used. Removing a lipoma will not take much time. But an endoscopic operation will cost you more than a regular one.
There is no trace left at all if you remove a lipoma with a laser. Of course, laser removal gives the best cosmetic effect, but it is several times more expensive than the usual method of removal. The laser method is perfect for getting rid of a lipoma, for example, on the eyelid. The laser is used to remove all types of lipomas.
There is a category of patients who are diligent in self-medication. We do not recommend doing this. In any case, you need to consult a doctor so as not to miss a malignant tumor.
The advantage of the laser is that it acts contactlessly, only on the lipoma itself, and does not affect the surrounding tissue.
A doctor's consultation before surgery includes an examination, diagnosis using a biopsy or ultrasound, and the appointment of tests necessary for the surgery. Only after this is the removal performed.
The laser helps remove even multiple neoplasms that occur in familial lipomatosis. Laser removal of lipomas is painless. After outpatient lipoma removal, you can go home in 2 hours. After laser removal of a lipoma, in 10 days you will forget that you ever had one.
You can also remove a lipoma using the Surgiton device. After using the device, only a thin crust remains. It falls off very quickly. The device operates on the principle of radio waves.
A connection has been established between lipomas and the onset of diabetes and liver dysfunction. Proper skin care plays a certain role. Due to poor care, lipomas appear even in teenagers, although they usually affect people over 30. This is the result of improper use of skin care products. If you or your child have acne, you should consult a dermatologist, and not choose a product yourself. You can disrupt the excretory and protective functions of the skin, and it will be difficult to restore them.

Removal of lipomas on the face
A lipoma can ruin your appearance. Especially if it suddenly pops up on your face. The consistency of lipomas can vary from soft and elastic to dense. Lipomas can press on bones and squeeze blood vessels. Diets and fat-burning products are completely useless for lipomas. Skinny people have lipomas on their faces and any other part of their bodies!
You can remove a tumor on the face with a scalpel, electrocoagulation, and it is also possible to remove lipomas with a laser, the most progressive method, since it does not injure tissue. After removing lipomas with a laser, there are no relapses, no scars, pigmentation or bruises. The only restriction after removing a lipoma is not to visit a sauna for several months and not to sunbathe without sunscreen.
You can try to see a cosmetologist and clear the sebaceous ducts with a chemical peel or puncture if the lipoma is small.
Some more home remedies to remove lipomas on the face:
- Take equal parts of vodka and sunflower oil and apply as a compress. An excellent simple remedy not only for lipomas, but also for pimples, blackheads, acne.
- Melt some lamb fat and apply it hot to the swelling.
- Mix red clay and sour milk 1:1 and add a pinch of salt. Apply to the neoplasm.
- Chop fresh onion and mix with honey 1:1. Also make compresses.
- Apply compresses with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution for 2-3 weeks. The lipoma should open up and the wound will heal after some time.
- Take 2 leaves of coltsfoot, apply to the swelling and change the compress 2 times a day.
- Apply Vishnevsky ointment to the wen. It will open up and you can easily remove it yourself. The method is especially good if inflammation has already set in.
- Pass 5 horse chestnuts through a meat grinder and mix with 1 tbsp. spoon of honey. In a few weeks the core of the neoplasm will come out.
- Soak the cloth in alcohol, sprinkle a teaspoon of ground black pepper on it and make compresses until the effect is achieved.
A noticeable result from home medicine cabinet recipes is possible only if lipomas are not a manifestation of internal diseases. If you have tried, but it did not help, consult a doctor. Sometimes, to make lipomas go away, you just need to make your diet more balanced, reduce fats and carbohydrates in your diet. To remove toxins, replace black tea with green tea. To strengthen your immune system, eat more onions. After eating, take pollen with honey in equal parts. Herbal tea made from oregano is also very useful.
Most often, lipomas on the face appear on the brow ridges and near the lips. Sometimes the appearance of lipomas can be associated with hormonal imbalances. Perhaps, ladies should undergo an examination by a gynecologist if there are many neoplasms, or they often return after removal.
If the lipoma has appeared on the eyelid, do not try to pierce it with a needle yourself, as the skin on the eyelid is very thin.
Removal of a lipoma on the head
Removal of lipomas is sometimes necessary if they reach large sizes. There are known cases when neoplasms grew to the size of an orange. Lipomas on the head occur due to hereditary or acquired imbalance in metabolism. Superficial neoplasms are soft, those that lie deep under the skin are denser to the touch. If a lipoma occurs in a child, it can be removed only when he or she is 10 years old.
Sometimes it is enough to inject a special drug into the tumor to dissolve the fatty tissue. But the treatment is long-term, and more than one injection will be needed. Injections should be given for about 3 months.
On the head and face, lipomas are best removed with a laser. The laser removes lipomas painlessly, effectively, and leaves no scars. The laser lipoma removal procedure is an outpatient procedure. You will be home the same day. No sick leave is required, which is important for busy people.
The next method is endoscopic, when an endoscope is inserted through a small opening, carefully cutting out the tumor. To remove a lipoma on the forehead using endoscopic instruments, an incision can be made on the hairy part of the head so that it is not visible. No traces of the operation will be visible on the face.
You can try to remove the wen yourself by applying a mask made from a raw egg.
Lipoma is a fatty tumor that anyone can encounter. It can even affect very young children.
Small lipomas are not dangerous; they do not hurt or bother for many years until they grow to a significant size.
There is a hereditary tendency to develop lipomas. That is, if your parents once had neoplasms, then there is a chance that you will have them too, but not necessarily. It may also happen that lipomas attack the body when it is clogged. If you do not follow the rules of personal hygiene, tumors of this kind can appear due to blockage of the sebaceous glands. A lipoma on the face can sometimes be confused with whiteheads.
If you try to squeeze a lipoma on your head with a needle at home, it may swell. And then you will still have to go to the doctor, first treat the inflammation that has arisen, and then remove the lipoma. In addition, if you do not remove the lipoma completely, it will return. The simplest, most accessible way to combat a lipoma is to remove it with a scalpel. An incision is made on it and the contents are evacuated. After which the incision is stitched up.
You can also puncture the lipoma and inject a medicine with a syringe to dissolve it. The procedure is repeated regularly for 3-6 months.
Some types of lipomas can degenerate into a malignant neoplasm - lymphosarcoma. The most dangerous type of lipoma is myelolipoma, as they are associated with blood vessels and most often can degenerate into cancer and metastasize.
Atheroma also resembles a lipoma. You need to be careful with it because it can burst and release pus.
Lipomas on the head are not only unsightly, they are physically uncomfortable and easily damaged when combing hair and washing the head.
At the appointment, the surgeon will perform a puncture of the lipoma cavity. If the tumor is large, an ultrasound is performed to clarify the tumor location and decide how to gain access to it during surgery. If the body is exhausted by some disease, it must first be treated, and then surgery can be performed. In the event of an exacerbation of chronic diseases, lipoma removal is not performed, because although this is a small surgical intervention, it is associated with certain risks.
The most suitable methods are two - laser (described above) and radio wave. The radio knife destroys tumor elements and evaporates them under the influence of electric current, safe for the human body. At the same time, it seals the vessels to avoid bleeding.
Removal of a lipoma on the eyelid
Lipoma, or wen, is a problem that every third person has encountered. Treating a wen on the eyelid is not easy because the skin there is very sensitive.
A lipoma is a benign soft growth under the skin. The causes of lipomas are very varied:
- Metabolic disorder.
- Hormonal disorders.
- Diseases of the urinary system.
- Hypodynamia.
- Diabetes mellitus.
- Overeating.
- Thyroid diseases.
Often people try to treat lipomas at home. This is wrong. If you notice that your vision has become worse because of a lipoma, or that it hurts, or that it simply creates a cosmetic defect, consult a surgeon. Surgical removal of a lipoma takes about an hour.
This cosmetic defect is especially troublesome for women. Before removing a lipoma, the surgeon must make sure that the skin growth is benign. The removed lipoma can be sent to the laboratory after excision.
If the removal of lipomas is performed using a laser, the tissues will heal quickly. A crust will form at the site of the incision, it should not be touched, it will fall off on its own in a couple of days. Removal of a lipoma on the eyelid is performed in a hospital setting. Perhaps you will not be sent home immediately, but will be observed for a day.
You can try to remove the lipoma on your eyelid yourself, but there is a risk that folk remedies may not help or that you will have to wait a long time for the effect.
So, to get rid of a lipoma, take pork fat and garlic. Mix a tablespoon of fat with two teaspoons of garlic and apply it to the lipoma, very carefully, covering the eye.
It is useful to eat two dessert spoons of cinnamon daily. It helps to dissolve fatty tissue.
Another good method. Take 5 horse chestnuts and grind them in a meat grinder. Add chopped aloe leaves (2 tbsp.) and apply to the tumor.
If the lipoma has grown in a short time or is painful, consult a doctor. Only he will determine the best method to remove the lipoma on the eyelid. If the lipoma is very large, it is removed not with a laser, but with a scalpel. With smaller sizes, you can try to get rid of the lipoma with injections of a drug that will dissolve it. Another progressive method of treating lipomas is radio wave.
Removal of a lipoma on the back
Removal of lipomas on the back can be done in several ways: laser, radio wave removal, or the classic surgical method - using a scalpel.
Laser removal of a lipoma on the back is painless, after the operation only a thin strip is visible. No bleeding or scars.
If the tumor is large, there is nothing left to do but remove it with an ordinary scalpel. However, after such an operation, there is a risk of relapse, swelling, and bleeding. It is important to remove the lipoma completely, along with the capsule. Over time, if particles of fatty tissue remain, the lipoma can form a stalk. This stalk is dangerous due to torsion with necrosis of the surrounding tissues. After removal, antibiotics are prescribed. The patient is advised to avoid spicy, fatty, and sweet foods.
Of the folk remedies, a compress of ichthyol ointment and a lotion with celandine juice help well. The effect of these remedies is based on improving blood circulation in this area, which promotes the gradual resorption of the lipoma. It is also good to review your diet, exclude preservatives and dyes. In the development of multiple lipomas, the hereditary factor plays a role. Such patients should be monitored by a doctor, since the disease is systemic, lipomas in patients with lipomatosis develop not only on the surface of the body, but also inside the body. If you do not consult a doctor, very rarely the lipoma degenerates into liposarcoma - a form of cancer. Doctors argue among themselves about what plays a key role in the formation of lipomas - a hereditary factor, a metabolic disorder, or a restructuring of the hormonal system. The latter theory is supported by the fact that lipomas occur more often in women after 40 years of age, i.e. before and during menopause. In any case, the proliferation of fatty tissue is a malfunction of the body. And if lipomas return, it is worth undergoing a full examination. This means that the cause is internal, and you can’t get by with homemade remedies from grandma’s medicine cabinet. Lipomas occur in the genital area, on the face, back, neck, and even internally – on the lung, peritoneum, pancreas. In women, you can encounter a lipoma of the mammary gland.
You can find a lipoma on your back of significant size yourself, for example, in the shower. Some lipomas can be seen in the mirror, some are detected by palpation. An atheroma that originates from a sebaceous gland duct is very similar to a lipoma. If it gets clogged, this tumor occurs. It is also benign. Atheromas can sometimes become infected and fester.
A lipoma of 1 cm or less can be removed with a needle by a cosmetologist. If the lipoma is larger, it can compress the muscle tissue on the back, and as you know, there is a lot of it there. The nerves extending from the spine can also be pinched. Thus, no tumor can be considered normal. You need to be treated. Another conservative method can be used - getting rid of a lipoma with a long course of injections. These injections lead to its gradual resorption over 3 months or more. You will only have to be patient. There is a small chance that a tiny lipoma, no more than 1 cm, will disappear on its own.
Removal of lipomas on the neck
A lipoma consists of fatty tissue and is a soft formation under the skin. A lipoma on the neck is not only unsightly, but also causes discomfort when wearing clothes. Ultimately, the lipoma, or lipoma, squeezes vital organs.
Metabolic disorders that lead to the formation of lipomas are often programmed by heredity. Sometimes the cause of lipomas is hormonal imbalance in women or traumatic brain injury with dysfunction of the hypothalamus.
If you decide to remove a lipoma, you first need to have it punctured and have an ultrasound to make sure that the tumor does not show signs of malignancy. The thing is that in a small percentage of cases, a lipoma develops into a lymphosarcoma. Therefore, the surgeon prescribes these examinations for his own peace of mind. Both local anesthesia and general anesthesia are chosen for the operation. If you are allergic to local anesthetics, or the tumor is very large, give preference to general anesthesia. It cannot be called harmless, of course, but in a good hospital or private clinic, the percentage of complications is zero. A couple of days after such an operation, you will be discharged home.
How is the operation performed? The surgeon scrapes out the lipoma along with the capsule through a small incision and sutures the wound with a cosmetic stitch. After the operation performed using the classical method, a small scar still remains. After the operation, undergo routine check-ups once a year for several years.
With the help of a laser, the removal of lipomas on the neck is done absolutely painlessly. General anesthesia is not required here, and local anesthesia serves rather for calming. The wound after the intervention heals in a week. Recurrent lipoma formation is recorded in no more than 0.5% of cases.
Conservative method - a needle is inserted into the lipoma and its contents are pumped out. The capsule remains, so the method is ineffective, and it was replaced by a similar method - an injection is also made, but a medicine is pumped into the lipoma, which completely eliminates it in three months. This is how long the treatment course lasts, injections are repeated at certain intervals. The disadvantage of the method is that you will have to wait a long time and visit the doctor often. The medicine is not cheap, as a result, conservative treatment can cost more than surgical treatment.
Sometimes a lipoma on the neck can be confused with inflammation of the lymph node. When a lymph node is inflamed, there is severe pain and a rise in temperature, a lipoma does not give such symptoms. Also, with lymphadenitis, there is lethargy and headache. The disease is somewhat similar to the flu. And the lymph nodes become inflamed for some specific reasons, due to an infection in the body or a cold.
Lipomas on the cervical vertebrae are extremely dangerous. A large lipoma on the back of the neck is an obstacle to blood circulation and can compress nerves. Headaches and high blood pressure may begin. If you notice that the lipoma has grown or turned red, go to the hospital as soon as possible. Do not press on the lipoma on the neck yourself, do not cut it, do not puncture it.
Removal of a lipoma on the leg
A fatty tumor on the leg is a benign growth of fatty tissue. Very rarely, it can develop into cancer. Fatty tumors, which are correctly called lipomas, often occur in people with a genetic predisposition. Women are also predisposed to them during the period of fading reproductive function. It happens that the cause of fatty tumors are internal diseases: pancreatitis, diabetes, problems with the thyroid gland.
A lipoma is a collection of fatty tissue that is not fused with the skin. It is a small, rolling ball. A lipoma on the leg does not cause pain, is mobile, and soft. Lipomas larger than 6 cm are rare.
It is necessary to perform a biopsy before deciding to remove a lipoma. Lymphosarcoma sometimes hides under the guise of a harmless formation.
A small lipoma can be removed in a clinic. Lidocaine or another anesthetic is used during the operation. The surgeon cuts the skin, removes the lipoma and capsule, and sutures the wound. The obtained material is re-examined for malignancy. The operation takes no more than 25 minutes. The recovery period after it is quite long - about 3 weeks.
It is also possible to remove lipomas on the leg endoscopically, through a tiny incision.
Sometimes it is enough to pump out the contents of the lipoma with a needle, without resorting to surgery. But since the capsule remains, relapses are possible.
Laser surgery is a more modern, painless, bloodless, but expensive method. The cavity is treated with a beam, so relapses and complications after this surgery are less than 1%, there is no massive bleeding, as with scalpel surgery. We recommend using this method if possible, if the doctor allows you to choose.
Several lipomas occur at once only in 7% of cases. Lipoma can consist not only of fat, but also of connective tissue, bone tissue, and calcium deposits.
Wen removal price
High-quality service and adequate cost of treatment of lipomas are offered by the Moscow medical center Best Clinic. After high-quality diagnostics, the clinic's doctors will offer the best method of conservative treatment or removal of lipomas at a price of 2200 rubles.
A similar service is also offered by the Moscow clinic European Center for Aesthetic Medicine. It is located near the metro, very conveniently. You will be met by caring clinic staff. The prices are also pleasantly surprising. A lipoma can be removed in this clinic for only 4750 rubles.
In St. Petersburg, the Eva Clinic removes lipomas and other benign skin diseases. It uses the laser removal method. The price of removal depends on the size of the lipoma. The intervention is performed under local anesthesia and does not require hospitalization. The operations are safe and without complications. After the operation, a cytological examination of the removed lipoma is performed. The clinic is located on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt.
In Kyiv, this service is provided by the El.En clinic. The doctors of the clinic will remove the lipoma very quickly, without complications, using a laser. The tissues are not injured during the operation, the laser acts very precisely only on the tumor itself. Relapses do not occur, since the lipoma capsule is also removed. There are no infiltrates, inflammation, bleeding or suppuration. The patient goes home on the same day. The entire procedure lasts about 20 minutes. A sterile bandage is applied to the wound. The clinic very carefully monitors the sterilization of instruments.
You can also trust the removal of lipomas to experienced doctors of the Center for Aesthetic Surgery at Clinical Hospital No. 10 in Kyiv. The clinic offers many years of experience of doctors and affordable prices for its patients. Lipomas and atheromas are safely and efficiently removed here for only 790 UAH.
As you can see, today removing lipomas is not a problem.
