In the absence of exudate or purulent contents in the maxillary cavities, acute or exacerbation of chronic sinusitis can be treated at home. Physiotherapy for sinusitis is based on the application of laser (magnetolaser) therapy with devices that generate radiation from the near infrared part of the optical spectrum (wavelength 0.8 - 0.9 microns), in a continuous or pulsed mode of generation of this radiation.
Technique of exposure is contact, stable.
Fields of influence: one or two (with a bilateral process) fields in the region of the pterygoid fossa. MRP OR 5 - 50 mW / cm 2. The induction of the magnetic nozzle is 20-40 mT.
Frequency of modulation of radiation: the first 3 - 5 procedures are carried out at a frequency of 80 Hz, all subsequent - with a frequency of 10 Hz.
The time of exposure to one field is 5 minutes, the duration of the course of treatment is 7 to 10 procedures daily once a day in the morning hours (the first two days it is possible to conduct the procedures 2 times a day at intervals of 4-6 hours).
