In situations where the patient does not have the opportunity to immediately visit the dentist, physiotherapy methods of short-pulse electroanalgesia, laser (magnetic laser) or information-wave exposure are recommended to relieve or reduce acute toothache.

Short-pulse electroanalgesia is performed on patients using the DiaDENS-T device. The effect is applied to the skin on the area of greatest pain. The method of action is contact, stable. The frequency of electrical impulses is 77 Hz. The voltage of the electric current is strictly individual (according to subjective sensations in the form of a slight tingling under the electrode). If there is no effect, the effect is performed up to 3 times a day, the exposure time on the field is 15 minutes.

Laser (magnetolaser) treatment for acute toothache is carried out using devices that generate radiation in the near infrared part of the optical spectrum (wavelength 0.8 - 0.9 µm) in both continuous and pulsed modes.

The area of greatest pain is affected by one or two fields on the skin. The method of action is contact, stable. PPM OR up to 50 mW/cm2. Magnetic attachment induction (in magnetic laser therapy) 20 - 40 mT. Pulse radiation frequency 50 - 100 Hz. If there is no effect, the action is carried out up to 3 times a day, the time of action on the field up to 10 minutes.

The information-wave impact is carried out using the Azor-IK device on the area of greatest pain with one field. The impact method is contact, stable. The pulse frequency is 80 Hz. If there is no effect from the first procedure, it is repeated (up to 3 times a day). The duration of a single impact is 20-30 minutes.
