In situations where the patient does not have the opportunity to visit the dentist immediately, methods of physiotherapy of short-pulse electroanalgesia, laser (magneto-laser) or information-wave action are recommended to stop or reduce acute toothache.
Short-pulse electroanalgesia to patients is carried out with the help of the apparatus "DiaDENS-T". Affect the skin to the area of greatest soreness. Technique of exposure is contact, stable. The frequency of electrical pulses is 77 Hz. The voltage of the electric current is strictly individual (according to subjective sensations in the form of a weak tingling under the electrode). In the absence of effect, the effect is carried out up to 3 times a day, the exposure time on the field is 15 minutes.
Laser (magnetolaser) action in acute tooth pain is carried out with devices that generate radiation from the near infrared part of the optical spectrum (wavelength 0.8 - 0.9 μm) in both continuous and pulsed modes.
Affect the skin on the area of greatest soreness with one or two fields. Technique of exposure is contact, stable. Or Up to 50 mW / cm2. Induction of magnetic packing (with magnetolaser therapy) 20 - 40 mT. The frequency of pulsed radiation is 50 - 100 Hz. In the absence of effect, the effect is carried out up to 3 times a day, the time of action on the field is up to 10 min.
Information-wave action is carried out with the help of the Azor-IK apparatus on the area of the most painful one field. Technique of exposure is contact, stable. The pulse frequency is 80 Hz. If there is no effect from the first procedure, repeat it (up to 3 times a day). The duration of a single exposure is 20 to 30 minutes.
