The night has passed and the first rays of the sun are already “knocking” on the window. Having woken up, you want to enjoy such a wonderful day, but your mood is spoiled by the unpleasant state of your body. You are plagued by nausea and bitterness in your mouth. How dangerous is this symptomatology, what to do to get rid of it? We will try to answer these and many other questions in this article.
Causes of nausea and bitterness in the mouth
In most cases, the causes of nausea and bitterness in the mouth can be one-time and banal - a wild party the night before with an abundance of booze and food:
- Overeating.
- Alcohol.
- Highly peppered and fatty foods.
- Various marinades and cocktails.
That is, if such a pathology occurs quite rarely, and is a consequence of aftertaste and hangover - the situation is unpleasant, temporary, but not fatal. A fasting day with plenty of fluids and light food, and nausea and bitterness in the mouth will pass on their own.
But if such discomfort haunts a person quite often, and can often persist throughout the day, or even at night, it is time to sound the alarm, resorting to the professional services of a therapist or gastroenterologist, because nausea and bitterness in the mouth can be factors warning of the development of various kinds of diseases. Such as, for example:
Dyskinesia of bile ducts is a mechanical failure of the walls of the bile ducts and gall bladder. This disorder disrupts the normal, uniform and timely secretion of bile into the intestine. It is not removed from the patient's body in a timely manner - this leads to stagnation of bile, its penetration back into the esophagus, which causes nausea and bitterness in the mouth.
This pathology is mainly found in the hypokinetic type. In such a situation, the contractile ability of the gallbladder walls is reduced, which does not allow the required amount of bile to enter the digestive tract to ensure normal digestion of food products. In the gallbladder, on the contrary, more than the required amount of this substance accumulates, bile stagnates in the bladder, causing the appearance of unpleasant symptoms, including an unpleasant odor from the oral cavity.
The impetus for the emergence and progression of such a disease can be:
- Upper respiratory tract infection caused by infectious strains.
- Ulcerative lesion of the gastrointestinal mucosa.
- Inflammation caused by an infection that has invaded the tissues of the pelvic organs.
- Liver damage (eg, hepatitis) of viral origin.
Mainly, nausea and bitterness in the mouth are often accompanied by the appearance of pain symptoms on the right side, localized under the rib (the area of the liver). Such attacks can be especially observed after a meal, the dishes of which included spicy and fatty foods, as well as marinades. Statistics of the emerging similar clinic indicate that the largest percentage of developing pathology of the hypokinetic type, provoking dyskinesia, falls on the fair sex, who use hormonal contraception, and on elderly people.
Similar symptoms can also be provoked by therapy with the use of certain medications. Most often, such a reaction of the body is caused by antibiotics or antihistamines, which, "solving their problems", simultaneously harm the intestinal microflora, inhibiting its motility. This is the most common cause of pathology today. Systemic antibiotics, not distinguishing bacteria - "friend or foe", destroy beneficial microflora, which leads to dysbacteriosis - an imbalance of the microbiological state inside the intestine. In parallel with this, peristalsis is inhibited, which invariably affects the patient's taste preferences and changes in taste perception.
A similar mechanism of pathological changes is observed during long-term therapy with antihistamines. But since antihistamines and antibiotics are often administered together, this negative factor only intensifies its manifestation.
The cause of nausea and bitterness in the mouth may be reflux of gastric secretion products. The term reflux in medicine refers to a fairly common, physiologically justified phenomenon, when the capacity of the stomach returns back to the esophagus through the lower esophageal sphincter. The same mechanism is triggered by pathology of the cardiac orifice, the defect of which allows acid from the stomach to get back into the esophagus, and through it into the larynx. In "small doses" - this refers to the normal functioning of the body.
But if gastroesophageal reflux causes frequent discomfort and the patient feels an unpleasant bitter-sour taste in the mouth, and particles of undigested food mixed with gastric juice may return - these are already symptoms of one of the many diseases affecting the digestive system. Often belching (reflux) is accompanied by nausea, or even vomiting.
If such symptoms bother a person often enough and for a long time, and they do not leave him at night, in such a situation you cannot do without consulting a specialist. Most likely, these are factors indicating the presence of one or more gastroesophageal reflux diseases in the patient's body. But only a qualified doctor can make a correct diagnosis and assess the severity of the disease. And only he is able to prescribe adequate and effective therapy.
Such symptoms may also indicate poisoning of the body with such chemical elements as lead, cadmium, copper, manganese, cobalt, mercury, which are heavy metals. If a person has come into contact with "pure" ions or salts of these heavy metals, nausea and bitterness in the mouth may appear - these are the signs that the body is being intoxicated. In order to get such poisoning, it is not necessary to work in a production facility that uses such chemical compounds, it is enough to actively use all kinds of household chemicals in everyday life. You can also get poisoned with salts of heavy metals by eating products that some unscrupulous farmers grow by adding too many different agricultural chemicals.
They are also present in some pharmacological preparations. If a mercury thermometer is still used at home to measure temperature, then if it is damaged, there is a high probability of mercury vapor poisoning. The salts of these metals have fairly high adsorption characteristics and are quickly absorbed by the mucous membrane of the digestive tract, after which they are carried throughout the body with the blood, affecting vital organs. The kidneys and liver are most affected by this picture, it is they that bear this “chemical blow”, the consequences of which are sometimes irreversible. In addition to nausea and bitterness in the mouth, diarrhea intermittent with constipation, flatulence may be observed. In severe poisoning, inhibition of motor activity and complete or partial loss of receptor sensitivity are possible. In the case of even slight suspicions of such poisoning, it is necessary to urgently see a doctor.
Another cause of nausea and bitterness in the mouth can be liver disease (the filter of the human body), because this pathology can also become an impetus for bile outflow disorders. It is the liver enzymes that are directly responsible for the production of the required amount of this fluid. With damage of various etiologies, the liver simply ceases to cope with the required volumes of "production", which leads to a pathological composition of saliva, and hence to unpleasant taste symptoms and nausea. Such diseases include:
- Hepatosis is a series of liver diseases, which are based on a failure of the metabolic process in liver cells (hepatocytes) and the development of dystrophic changes in these cells. Most often, such changes occur under the influence of toxins (mainly found in alcoholic beverages), as well as in the case of endocrine pathology, with obesity.
- Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver tissue caused by a viral infection.
- Liver cirrhosis is an irreversible replacement of liver parenchymatous tissue with fibrous connective tissue, or stroma. That is, the process of liver cells dying and replacing them with nodes of abnormal neoplasms that are unable to perform any work. This leads to the accumulation of basic biological compounds in the liver.
Invisible to the eye parasitic microorganisms surround us in everyday life constantly, and only personal hygiene can reduce the likelihood of protozoa getting into our body. Giardiasis is another reason that can manifest itself with such symptoms. Getting into the patient's body, this small parasite can upset the intestines. Irritating the mucous membrane, they can also cause symptoms such as headaches, flatulence in the upper abdomen, nausea and bitterness in the mouth, which does not add to the patient's appetite, leading to weight loss. In order to prevent the parasite from getting into your body or to stop its development in the early stages of infection, you should undergo antiparasitic therapy once every six months.
Such symptoms may also appear during pregnancy, when a woman is expecting a child and her body is being rebuilt, preparing for this significant event. The restructuring occurs at the hormonal level, which can cause discomfort.
An unpleasant taste in the mouth can also be caused by pathology of the oral cavity or dental diseases:
- Stomatitis (lesion of the oral mucosa), glossitis (inflammatory process affecting the tissues of the tongue), gingivitis (chronic inflammatory process of the gums).
- Incorrectly selected dentures can also provoke similar symptoms. The patient may have increased sensitivity to the material they are made of.
- The source of nausea and bitterness in the mouth may be the filling material.
A cerebrovascular accident of various origins can cause nausea and bitterness in the mouth. Vascular spasm is usually accompanied by both headache and nausea.

Symptoms of nausea and bitterness in the mouth
The negative manifestations of the body under consideration are already a response reaction of the human systems to a particular irritant or "aggression" from the outside. Accompanied by additional manifestations, the symptoms of nausea and bitterness in the mouth "speak" of the presence of a particular disease in the patient. But only a highly qualified specialist, having assessed the combination of symptoms, is able to assume the area of damage, and having received the results of the examination, and correctly state the diagnosis.
Symptoms of nausea and bitterness in the mouth may be accompanied by the following phenomena:
- Bloating.
- Nausea, if intense, progressing to reflex vomiting.
- Constipation or, conversely, loose stools.
- Headaches and pain symptoms in the abdominal area (epigastric zone).
- Digestive upset.
- Unpleasant sounds (rumbling) coming from inside.
- Dizziness.
- Bad breath.
Bitterness in the mouth, nausea and weakness
The time when a woman carries her baby is perhaps one of the most wonderful periods in the life of a future mother. But for some representatives of the fair sex, this condition is marred by the appearance of unpleasant manifestations. The body restructures the intensity of its work, changes occur in the hormonal background, and during this period, there is also an increase in sensitivity to various irritants. Taste receptors, smell and touch are activated. It is this feature of the woman's body that can lead to such discomfort. To stop negative manifestations, the pregnant woman must as carefully as possible avoid contact with objects that provoke unpleasant symptoms.
Bitterness in the mouth, nausea and weakness can also appear if the pregnant woman has an improper diet. After all, what the body easily coped with before conception can now become a factor causing unpleasant sensations. By adjusting her diet, a woman can get rid of the causes that darken her life.

Dizziness, nausea and bitterness in the mouth
A short time before the onset of an epileptic seizure, the patient may feel dizzy, nauseous, and bitter in the mouth. The cerebrovascular accident that provokes the manifestation of such symptoms can subsequently, if measures are not taken when such discomfort appears, lead to irreversible consequences, causing a stroke.
Drinking alcoholic beverages can provoke dizziness, nausea and bitterness in the mouth. Low-quality alcohol with an increased fusel oil content acts on the human body as a poison, the toxic substances of which lead to intoxication of the body. A similar situation can occur when taking certain medications - these are the symptoms indicated in the instructions for their drugs as side effects.

Nausea, vomiting and bitterness in the mouth
A reflex process independent of human will, which consists of removing the contents of the stomach through the mouth, and sometimes through the nose, is vomiting. This process is controlled by the vomiting center. During this reflex movement, the muscle tissues of the stomach relax, and an increase in the volume of the esophagus is observed. The impetus for the onset of the vomiting process is the contractile activity of the abdominal muscles (gastric spasms).
If a person is bothered by nausea, vomiting and bitterness in the mouth, the cause of discomfort may be diseases of the brain: migraine, tumor, craniocerebral trauma, stress, neuroses. Damage to the labyrinth of the inner ear, where the center of balance is located, can also provoke such symptoms.
Hematogenous-toxic vomiting in combination with other factors can be caused by poison entering the human blood and, as a result, complete intoxication of the body, primarily affecting the kidneys and liver. Disruption of their work is the impetus for the manifestation of negative symptoms. The reasons for this can be different: poisonous mushrooms, drug overdose, alcohol, infectious disease.
Various gastrointestinal diseases can also cause nausea, vomiting and bitterness in the mouth. This can happen either during an exacerbation of the disease or after eating, if the diet included foods that are undesirable for consumption in such a state of the digestive system.
If the intensity of symptoms increases quickly enough, the discomfort may be caused by an intestinal infection.
Nausea, bitterness in the mouth and diarrhea
Acute poisoning, it can be provoked by any toxic agent, causing severe intoxication. Often the symptoms of poisoning are nausea, bitterness in the mouth and diarrhea. Such a reaction of the body can be provoked by: food, toxic gases, alcoholic beverages, household chemicals, medicines.
Antibiotics can cause nausea, bitterness in the mouth and diarrhea. These drugs are usually not selective and affect all viruses and bacteria, affecting both the "bad" and the "good", thereby leading to dysbacteriosis.
Intestinal infection – it can cause such discomfort. Moreover, having an aggressive nature, some infections can bring the manifestation of symptoms to high intensity in a short period of time. And if urgent measures are not taken, the patient can get dehydration and complete intoxication of the body. This is especially dangerous for small children. Delay can cost the baby his life.
Bitterness, dry mouth and nausea
In the instructions for some medications, which are always included with the drug, bitterness, dry mouth and nausea are listed as symptoms of an overdose of the active substance or as a side effect of therapy involving it. It is sometimes sufficient to simply stop administering the drug, and the unwanted symptoms disappear on their own.
But such symptoms can become harbingers of an approaching comatose state, which develops on the basis of deterioration of liver function against the background of liver failure.
Very often, bitterness, dry mouth and nausea are factors that indicate the presence of Helicobacter gastritis in the patient's body. When this parasite gets into the stomach, it affects secretions, reduces acidity, the mucous membrane begins to break down, but at the same time, mucus production is activated. Gradually, the inflammation affects the entire digestive tract. This process is activated, turning gastritis into a chronic condition.

Nausea, bitterness in the mouth and belching
Clinical syndromes of chronic cholecystitis - this pathology is capable of causing such unpleasant symptoms as nausea, bitterness in the mouth and belching. At the same time, painful manifestations are added on the right side in the epigastric and hypochondrium. An attack can occur unexpectedly and be caused by "wrong" food products, heavy physical exertion, emotional stress. When stopping, it responds well to the introduction of myotropic antispasmodics.
Dyspeptic digestive system disorders, in addition to nausea, bitterness in the mouth and belching, are also aggravated by symptoms of biliary system and gastrointestinal tract disorders. Often, the patient's body reacts very badly to fried foods and fatty foods.
The manifestation of such symptoms may also indicate a disease that affects the liver and negatively affects its functioning. The liver is the filter of the human body, and when it fails to cope with its functions, the body begins to become intoxicated. It is thanks to liver enzymes that bile is produced, which is involved in the process of digesting food, and also helps to thin the blood. A failure in this process can manifest itself in similar symptoms.
Bitterness in the mouth, nausea and fever
Botkin's disease, jaundice or hepatitis - this frightening disease divides the life of many patients into "before" and "after". Bitterness in the mouth, nausea and fever - these are the symptoms and some others that this disease manifests itself with. The cause of such symptoms is inflammation of the liver tissue, provoked by one of the viruses.
A prolonged inflammatory process ultimately leads the patient to liver cirrhosis, an incurable disease with irreversible structural and functional changes in the tissues and parameters of the liver.
Hepatic coma is a rather rare condition of the patient's body and its precursors are bitterness in the mouth, nausea and temperature (37.1 - 37.4 ° C), as well as apathy, decreased general tone of the body, loss of appetite, pain symptoms throughout the body, drowsiness.
In both situations, the patient must be under the constant supervision of his attending physician.
Nausea and bitterness in the mouth as a symptom of the disease
A very unpleasant sensation in the pit of the stomach, accompanied by pallor, salivation, excessive sweating, a bitter taste in the mouth - these are the factors that indicate that the human body is exposed to some negative impact and indicate a disruption in the normal functioning of the internal organs. Therefore, nausea and bitterness in the mouth are perceived as a symptom of the disease. And there are several such pathologies:
- A malfunction of the gallbladder is the most common cause of nausea and an unpleasant taste in the mouth. This happens when bile, due to pathological changes, gets into the esophagus. If this is the source of discomfort that is suspected, the doctor prescribes a comprehensive examination of the bile ducts and gallbladder. Based on the examination data, choleretic drugs are prescribed, and, for example, if gallstone pathology is detected, surgery may be required.
- Diseases affecting the digestive tract. For example, such as:
- Gastritis.
- Liver diseases.
- Ulcerative lesion of the stomach and duodenum.
- Gastroduodenitis.
- Disruptions in the functional motility of the muscular tissue of the stomach.
- Colitis and enterocolitis.
- Other pathologies.
In diseases of this nature, the main manifestations are nausea, epigastric pain, belching, a yellowish-white coating that can be observed on the tongue, while the bitter taste felt by the patient is only a secondary factor in the pathological manifestation.
- Inflammatory and infectious diseases associated with damage to the mucous layers of the oral cavity, including the gums. The pathology is often accompanied by an unpleasant smell from the mouth in addition to nausea and bitterness in the mouth.
- Taking antihistamines and antibiotics can lead to an imbalance of intestinal microflora and inhibition of its motility. Very often, drugs of these groups are prescribed together in one treatment protocol. Such a tandem enhances each other's antibacterial properties, which only worsens dysbacteriosis, which is the cause of the unpleasant discomfort.
- Giardia that have settled in the patient’s body can also cause discomfort.
Perceiving nausea and bitterness in the mouth as a symptom of a disease, only by establishing the true cause of their appearance, can the problem be stopped. In order for the course of treatment to be effective, it is necessary to seek help from a qualified specialist. Having studied the totality of complaints, he can initially assume the source of the pathology and prescribe a more targeted examination.

Diagnosis of nausea and bitterness in the mouth
If you experience nausea, an unpleasant, bitter taste in your mouth, and other unpleasant symptoms, especially in the morning, you should not look for ways to get rid of the discomfort on your own. In order to carry out adequate therapy, you must first identify the true cause of these symptoms. Diagnosis of nausea and bitterness in the mouth directly depends on the doctor's qualifications. Based on the totality of the factors that appear, he evaluates the complaints and is initially able to localize the area of pathology. And, based on this, prescribe examination methods.
If the discomfort clearly indicates problems with the gastrointestinal tract or liver, then, often, the complex of studies includes:
- Clinical examination.
- Palpation of the right hypochondrium, gallbladder and epigastric region.
- Fibrogastroduodenoscopy is an examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract: stomach, esophagus, duodenum. The procedure is performed by an endoscopist using a medical device called a gastroscope. Its probe is inserted into the intestine, equipped with a micro camera at the end. This type of examination allows you to see the condition of the intestinal walls, take pictures, make a video recording or take samples.
- Urine analysis to determine the presence of an internal inflammatory process.
- A stool test also allows us to assess how complex the patient's health situation is.
- Ultrasound examination of the organ of interest.
- A biopsy is a fairly informative examination method based on the extraction of a fragment of the mucous membrane of the problematic organ - material for a more detailed laboratory study.
- Retrograde cholangiopancreatography is an innovative medical technique for examining the pancreas and bile ducts. The research equipment includes endoscopic and X-ray equipment, this combination allows you to obtain the maximum amount of information and determine the level of abnormality of the systems and organs of interest with the greatest accuracy. The procedure of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is carried out in the following sequence: first, the endoscope is inserted into the duodenum, where it is fixed to the wall of the inlet of the large duodenal papilla. After the equipment is fixed, a special probe with a hollow lumen inside is pulled through the inner space of the inserted tube. Then, thanks to it, a contrast agent is supplied to the study site. When the dye gets into the organ being examined, the endoscopist takes the necessary shots of the area of interest, using X-ray equipment.
- If hepatitis is suspected, liver function tests are taken, which allow the doctor to assess the levels of certain enzymes, cholesterol, bilirubin, and so on.
- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is a highly informative, although unsafe, method of direct contrasting of the biliary and pancreatic systems. But thanks to it, the doctor can get a clear idea of the organ's condition.
- If nausea and bitterness in the mouth occur after gluttony, the gastroenterologist may prescribe several tests to determine “undesirable” foods in the patient’s diet.
- pH-metry study. This method allows determining the acidity level of the gastric contents, as well as the duodenum and esophagus. This indicator can be used to judge the presence of inflammation in the tissues of the digestive tract.
- Blood test for antibodies.
- If the pathology concerns dental changes, sometimes a simple medical examination is enough.
The diagnosis has been made – it’s time to start treatment.
Treatment of nausea and bitterness in the mouth
Complex therapy of negative manifestations is prescribed by a doctor after diagnosis and based on it. Treatment of nausea and bitterness in the mouth is, first of all, stopping the disease that is the source of these symptoms.
First of all, it would not be superfluous to adjust the patient's diet, removing irritating products from it. In case of reflux of gastric secretion products, the doctor may prescribe domperedone, a medicine that stops gastrointestinal problems.
Domperedone is designed as an antiemetic drug. The effect of the drug on the body is due to the inhibition of central dopamine receptors. This effect allows to eliminate the inhibition of gastrointestinal motility and increase the evacuation and mechanical activity of the stomach.
It is advisable to take the tablets 15-20 minutes before meals. In case of observed dyspeptic phenomena that have become chronic, adult patients and children over five years of age are prescribed 10 mg three to four times a day. If nausea is severe and vomiting occurs, the drug is administered 20 mg three to four times a day (the last one - before going to bed). The daily dose of the drug should not exceed 80 mg.
If the patient suffers from renal failure, the dosage administered must be adjusted. The number of doses is from one to two doses per day.
The drug should not be prescribed if the patient has a history of:
- Prolactinoma is a benign neoplasm located in the pituitary gland that produces large amounts of prolactin.
- Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
- The presence of internal bleeding affecting the organs of the gastrointestinal tract.
- Mechanical intestinal obstruction.
- Pregnancy and lactation period.
- Children under five years of age.
- Perforation of the walls of the stomach or intestines.
In case of diseases affecting the stomach, duodenum and intestines, the following may be prescribed:
An effective polyenzyme drug Pancreatin is a drug that improves digestion. Pancreatin is prescribed for oral administration to the patient during meals or immediately after a meal. Depending on the diagnosis and severity of the disease, adult patients are administered one to three pills three times a day. For small patients - at the discretion of the attending physician, depending on the pathology. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor and can be from a few days to several years.
The drug should not be taken if the patient has been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis or if there is an exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis at the time of initiation of therapy, as well as in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components of the drug.
Furazolidone is an effective antibacterial agent that belongs to the nitrofuran group. The tablets are taken orally after meals. The drug is prescribed to patients who have already reached the age of 14 in a dosage of 100 mg to 150 mg, four times a day, for younger children from 30 to 50 mg, the same number of doses. The duration of therapy is from five to ten days. The drug is contraindicated in case of individual intolerance to its components.
A remedy for the treatment of peptic ulcers - Omeprazole - is prescribed for ulcerative manifestations of the gastrointestinal tract to adults at 20 mg once a day, in the morning, with food, without chewing. The course duration is from two to four weeks. If necessary, the dosage can be doubled and divided into two injections.
In case of reflux esophagitis, omeprazole is administered in the amount of 20 mg daily. The duration of therapy is four to five weeks. In severe cases, the dose is doubled, and the course can be extended to two months.
The drug should not be prescribed to women during pregnancy and lactation, to small children, or in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Hepatoprotectors are also usually prescribed - drugs that prevent damage to the liver parenchyma and restore its functions. These include Essliver, Ursofalk, Heptor, Urdoksa, Heptral. These drugs help to normalize choleretic characteristics and stabilize the situation. Ursofalk - the drug is administered orally, once, preferably before bedtime. The dosage of the drug is individual for each patient. Usually, the starting daily dose for acute liver disease is from 10 to 15 mg per kilogram of the patient's weight. The duration of therapy is adjusted by the doctor, and this period can be from six months to two years. In case of medical indications, the amount of the administered drug can be increased to 20 mg.
Ursofalk is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, if the patient's medical history includes a high level of gallstones, if the gallbladder has lost its functions, if there is an inflammatory process, as well as in case of liver cirrhosis.
If gallstone disease is diagnosed, surgery may also be required.
Prevention of nausea and bitterness in the mouth
It is better to prevent any disease than to spend a lot of effort and money to stop it. Prevention of nausea and bitterness in the mouth is quite simple, the main thing is to pull yourself together and follow the recommended rules.
- Nutrition should be rational. The composition of dishes must include a sufficient amount of vitamins and microelements. It is necessary to whistle fatty foods, fried and spicy dishes to a minimum.
- Give up bad habits: alcohol and nicotine.
- Avoid eating fast food.
- Minimize the intake of foods that contain preservatives, stabilizers, and colorants.
- Don't get carried away with GMO foods.
- Observe the rules of general hygiene, especially oral hygiene.
- Don't ignore preventive medical examinations.
- If a disease is detected, do not delay treatment, carefully following all specialist instructions.
- Avoid overeating with heavy drinking. It is better to eat more often, but in small portions.
- Don't neglect proper rest.
Nausea and bitterness in the mouth prognosis
If a person leads a healthy lifestyle, not excluding preventive measures, then the prognosis for nausea and bitterness in the mouth, if this concerns isolated cases (birthday, New Year's Eve), is favorable and a gentle diet or a fasting day is enough for the negative symptoms to go away on their own. In the case of a timely visit to a doctor with a more serious pathology, the prognosis for nausea and bitterness in the mouth, in the case of timely treatment, is also favorable. But if the disease is advanced and irreversible, for example, like cirrhosis of the liver, then nothing good awaits the patient in the future. In such a situation, you can only alleviate the patient's condition by prescribing supportive therapy.
If you are bothered by nausea and bitterness in the mouth in the morning, or even throughout the day, you should not brush this problem aside. It is good if such symptoms are isolated and rare, then you really should not worry too much. But in order not to miss a more serious disease, it is better to seek help from a qualified specialist. Only he will refute or confirm the presence of pathology and, based on the results of the examination, prescribe adequate treatment, which will lead to an effective result.
