Causes of migraine

The most common risk factors for developing migraine attacks (triggers) are hormonal causes (menstruation, ovulation, oral contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy), dietary (alcohol (dry red wine, champagne, beer), nitrate-rich foods, monosodium glutamate, aspartame; chocolate, cocoa, nuts, eggs, celery, aged cheese, missed meals.

Migraine

Migraine is the most frequent diagnosis of headache, which is characterized by attacks of pulsating pain in the head lasting from several hours to several days, mostly in one half of the head, more often in women, as well as in young and adolescents.
