Chronic appendicitis

The existence of such a form of inflammation of the appendix, as a chronic appendicitis in adults, and in children, many surgeons are questioned. Preoperative diagnosis of this pathology, as a rule, is exposed on the basis of repeatedly occurring abdominal pains with localization in the right ileal region.

Gastrocardiac syndrome

Gastrokardialny syndrome (abdominal angina) - a symptom complex, caused by the neural-reflex connection of organs: the upper floor of the abdominal cavity and the cardiac system.

Hernia

Hernia is the protrusion of internal organs or parts thereof through openings in anatomical intermediate spaces under the skin, into intermuscular spaces or internal pockets and cavities.

Peptic Ulcer

A peptic ulcer is a chronic relapsing disease characterized by the formation of an ulcer in the stomach or duodenum due to trophic disturbances and the development of proteolysis of the mucosa.

Gastro-duodenal syndrome

The stomach and 12 duodenum are functionally closely interrelated, and their pathology is accompanied by the development of gastroduodenal syndrome. Survey and treatment of such patients is carried out by therapists or gastroenterologists. The competence of surgeons includes only complicated forms of peptic ulcer, polyps and polyposis, oncoprocesses.

Adhesive disease

Adhesive disease is a pathological condition caused by the formation of adhesions in the abdominal cavity after surgery, trauma and some diseases.

Symptoms of appendicitis: what should I look for?

Appendicitis is formed at any age, against a background of complete health, suddenly. Appendicitis symptoms are typical, which are manifested by the appearance of pain in the right iliac region or in epigastrium (Kocher's symptom), or near-the-buccal region (Kymmel symptom).  

Mesenteric adenitis

Mesadenitis is an inflammation of the lymph nodes of the mesentery and intestine. There are nonspecific (simple) and specific (tuberculous or pseudotuberculous) mesadenitis, which along the course is acute and recurrent.

Ulcer

Ulcer is a profound defect in the skin or mucous membrane and underlying tissues, the healing processes of which (development of granulation tissue, epithelialization) are reduced or significantly impaired and are accompanied by prolonged healing.
