Home body cleansing is recommended by many naturopalats who use natural remedies for healing and treating various diseases. And body cleansing using Mavra Oganyan's method is one of many such deoxidation systems.

The main concepts that are promoted by adherents of most alternative medical systems are bowel cleansing, fasting of varying duration, strict diets, drinking large amounts of herbal infusions and natural juices, and eliminating certain foods from the diet (in radical versions, switching to a raw food diet). All of this, in their opinion, will help rid the body of accumulated toxins (according to M. Oganyan, these are dead cells that are not removed from the intestines, sinuses, lungs, bronchi, liver, etc. in time), which negatively affect health.

A few words about the author of this method

The main information provided by the biography of biochemist Mavra Oganyan: time and place of birth - 1935 (May 21), Yerevan (Armenia); education - higher medical (studied at the Yerevan Medical Institute); for one and a half decades she was an employee of the Research Institute of Biochemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR; defended her dissertation (in 1973) and received a candidate of biological sciences degree; worked as a spa doctor in her homeland and in the Krasnodar Territory (now lives in Krasnodar, Russian Federation).

Having become a natural payer, M. Oganyan actively promotes alternative practice methods aimed at preventing and treating diseases of various systems and organs. Several of her books have been published: "Handbook of a Natural Payer Doctor", "Golden Rules of Natural Medicine", "Golden Recipes of Naturopathy", "The Path to a Child's Health. Modern Methods of Effective Health Improvement for Children" (co-authored with O. Belova), "Ecological Medicine. The Path of the Future Civilization" (co-authored with her son Varan Oganyan).

Mavra Oganyan's Method: Cleansing the Body in 21 Days

All payments in kind repeat the statement of the Nobel laureate in physiology and medicine I. I. Mechnikov: "Death begins in the large intestine." That is, the "waste" of food consumed by a person is retained in the large intestine, and the bacteria living in it convert them into toxic metabolites that enter the bloodstream and lead to autointoxication (self-poisoning).

According to research by the Royal Society of Medicine (UK), 90% of all chronic diseases are related to the gastrointestinal tract in some way. In short, the idea of toxins being absorbed by the body makes some sense.

Cleansing the body in 21 days according to Mavra Oganyan's method also begins with cleansing the intestines. To do this, in the evening (around 7 p.m.) take a laxative - magnesium sulfate (magnesium sulfate or Epsom salt) - at a rate of 50 g per 150-200 ml of warm water. It is recommended to drink a glass of herbal decoction immediately after the laxative.

M. Oganyan included the following herbs in the list of herbs that should be taken in equal quantities: chamomile flowers and calendula officinalis, peppermint, lemon balm, sage, oregano, coltsfoot, wild pansy, knotweed, bearberry, horsetail, yarrow, plantain leaves and burdock root. The decoction is prepared in advance at the rate of: a tablespoon of dry herbal mixture per 0.5 liters of water. Useful information in the article - Herbs for intestinal cleansing

Add natural honey (a teaspoon per glass) and freshly squeezed lemon juice (a tablespoon per 200 ml of broth) to the cooled broth before drinking. Honey and lemons are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, which help support the liver and kidneys. And cleansing the body with herbs and honey - in combination with a laxative - is an ancient Ayurvedic method of cleansing the intestines of toxins, while simultaneously cleansing it of parasites. If there are contraindications to the use of magnesium sulfate (gastrointestinal inflammation, rectal bleeding, chronic renal failure, myocardial problems), castor oil is used (30 ml or two tablespoons per dose). It should be borne in mind that laxatives such as senna leaf or buckthorn bark extract irritate the intestinal mucosa and are not suitable for everyone. Thus, cleansing the child's body is carried out only with the use of castor oil.

After taking a laxative (by the way, magnesium sulfate also has a choleretic effect), drink a decoction of medicinal plants again (at least 1.5 liters) and cleanse the liver using tubage: lie on your right side for at least 90 minutes, applying a hot water bottle to it (if the water bottle cools down, you need to make it hot again).

In case of gastric ulcer, inflammation of the duodenum or gall bladder, as well as pancreatitis, this procedure is contraindicated. More information about the technique in the material - Liver cleansing at home

The laxative effect of magnesium sulfate begins on average an hour and a half after taking it and lasts for several hours. However, the liver cleansing procedure should be completed and you should go to bed immediately (no later than 9 p.m.).

In the morning (before 7 o'clock) a cleansing enema is given (it is better to use Esmarch's mug), the volume of water (body temperature) is up to two to three liters with the addition of a tablespoon of table salt and a teaspoon of baking soda. Enemas are given every morning for a week.

During this time, you cannot eat (or take any medications), you should only drink a decoction of medicinal herbs with honey and lemon juice (2.5 liters per day). You also need to do an enema every morning. And from the first day of the second week, cleansing the body with herbs and honey is supplemented with freshly squeezed juices from apples, carrots, pumpkin, citrus fruits and seasonal vegetables (up to five glasses per day).

M. Oganyan warns: if nausea and vomiting begin, you should wash your stomach with a weak soda solution (half a teaspoon per glass of water).

Complete cleansing of the body lasts three weeks, and it is important to exit the fast correctly. For the first few days, you can only eat pureed fruits and drink water and juices (while continuing to take herbal infusions); then pureed vegetables (without heat treatment) are added to the menu - with herbs and lemon juice.

After 10 days, it is permissible to eat baked vegetables (with raw pressed vegetable oils).

For maximum health benefits, M. Oganyan recommends conducting the cleansing course annually or even twice a year.

In addition, the naturopath advises to radically change your usual diet, excluding animal proteins and yeast-based bakery products.

In her book, “The Golden Rules of Natural Medicine,” Marva Ohanyan notes the benefits that cleansing a child’s body and eating the right foods can bring: “The cause of the accumulation of pus and mucus in our tissues is primarily meat and dairy foods, especially in children with still imperfect immune mechanisms.”

The doctor believes that even infants need to cleanse their intestines with enemas. And to prevent breast milk from being "clogged with toxins," nursing women should eat only fruits and vegetables.

Reviews of body cleansing using Marva Oganyan's method

Reviews of body cleansing at home using Marva Oganyan's method are varied. Among the positive ones, they note: a noticeable improvement in well-being, reduction of joint pain, normalization of blood pressure, disappearance of some skin problems, weight loss.

Negative reviews include complaints of nausea and vomiting, dizziness and severe weakness, stomach cramps and muscle cramps.

In addition, experts believe that in cleansing the body in 21 days according to M. Oganyan’s method, the use of enemas during daily bowel rinsing is excessive.

According to gastroenterologists, sodium bicarbonate (soda) should not be added to water for enemas, since rinsing the colon with an alkaline solution, firstly, can damage its mucous membrane, and, secondly, leads to an increase in pH levels and the death of beneficial bifidobacteria, that is, it can disrupt the intestinal microbiota - the ecological community of commensal microorganisms that help produce immune cells.

And nutritionists have complaints about nutrition during the period of exiting fasting: in their opinion, during this period the diet should be soft - based on cooked products, and raw food should be avoided.

However, if a person is lethargic, feels constantly tired, suffers from unexplained systemic disorders and malaise, cleansing the body at home can be a solution to some of the problems.
