Causes of allergic rash on the face

Allergies can be caused by metal objects and products containing nickel, and medications that are in a special risk group. They can cause a sharp manifestation of allergy and anaphylactic shock in a person, in principle, like wasp bites, for some people. Rashes appear with allergies to dust, animal hair, flower pollen, sunlight or cold. And despite the variety of causes, there are two mechanisms of action: fast and slow. The cells of the name protection are responsible for them. Therefore, a person's predisposition to a reaction to histamine is transmitted genetically. This information is especially important for pregnant women, since a weakening of the immune system leads to the appearance of a rash in a newborn.
Symptoms of allergic rash on the face
Like any disease, allergic rash on the face has its own symptoms. The first visual symptom is the rash itself. It is localized mainly in certain areas of the skin of the face. Dermatitis (contact), urticaria, and swelling are characteristic of allergies. Redness of the skin, itching, peeling, and blisters are the next in line of symptoms.
Symptoms of urticaria. Small blisters similar to nettle burns appear on skin areas. That is where it got its name. It itches and scratches a lot. In more severe cases, fever and weakness of the body may be observed. It is cured within 24 hours if allergens no longer enter the body.
Quincke's edema. Characterized by damage to deeper tissues. At first glance, the appearance of the affected area of skin is unchanged, not red, there is no itching. Attention should be paid to the general condition of the person.
All skin rashes have one feature - dryness. But, do not immediately moisturize with cream. It is necessary to consult a doctor.
Diagnosis of allergic rash on the face
It is quite easy to determine whether there is a rash on the face, just by looking in the mirror. In general, if itching appears in a certain place and does not go away but intensifies, it is necessary to examine this area of the skin well. It is highly advisable not to touch it with your hands. Treatment of allergic rash on the face
If this happens, don't get upset. The first symptoms can be relieved or their spread can be reduced. If red spots appear on the face and neck, you can take an antihistamine tablet. The most famous is Diazolin. Swelling and other symptoms are relieved by simple procedures. First, you need to treat the inflamed areas with a napkin or towel soaked in kefir or sour milk. Then rinse your face with warm boiled water, without using detergents. Blot your face and wipe with a weak solution of boric acid. Add a teaspoon of boric acid to a glass of cool boiled water. You can also use a decoction of herbs: chamomile, sage, and black tea.
When an allergic rash appears on the face, it is very important to maintain calm and even breathing so that blood does not rush to the face. After wiping the skin, you can apply a light cream that does not clog the pores.
Some herbal tinctures recommend taking "internally". Pour two spoons of celery powder with a glass of cold water and leave for two hours. Strain and drink before meals. Or the next one, pour two tablespoons of burdock and dandelion roots with three glasses of cold water, leave for 12 hours. Then bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Cool and take 50 g 4-5 times a day.
Doctors recommend taking antihistamines, calcium solution, and strengthening the immune system.
Prevention of allergic rash on the face
The face is a person's business card. In order for allergic rashes on the face to occur as rarely as possible or to pass faster, it is necessary to carry out preventive procedures. The most important thing is to protect the skin in every possible way from direct sunlight, ultraviolet radiation, and severe frost. There are many cosmetic creams for this. They must be chosen very carefully and tested before use. If redness and slight burning appear during the test, the cream should be discarded immediately. Giving up bad habits (smoking, alcohol), fatty foods containing a lot of pepper and salt, helps to reduce the risk of allergies. Reduce the use of medications to a minimum. If this is difficult to do, be sure to consult a doctor before use. It is advisable to exclude carbonated drinks from the diet, especially sweet ones. Products that can cause an allergic reaction should be consumed in small quantities and rarely.
