Non-infectious urethritis

The main causes of nonspecific non-infectious urethritis:
- trauma (catheterization, cystoscopy, passage of urinary calculus);
- allergy;
- urethral stricture;
- tumors of the urethra;
- metabolic disorders (phosphaturia, uraturia, oxaluria, hypercalciuria);
- stagnation in the veins of the pelvis, penis, organs of the scrotum.
An important role in the pathogenesis of the disease is played by a decrease in the body's immunoreactive forces.
The stagnation factor leading to venous stasis in the submucosal layer of the urethra, due to sexual excesses, insufficient physical activity, predisposes to the development of noninfectious urethritis. In case of secondary infection, the symptoms of urethritis become more pronounced, sometimes they are associated with the type of pathogen.
