A popular medicine for the treatment of colds based on the product of beekeeping is propolis with milk. This cough is used for both adults and children.

In a container that can be heated, pour out 500 ml of milk and heat. In the hot liquid, add propolis and mix thoroughly. Boil the mixture on fire for 15-20 minutes and let it brew. After cooling, carefully remove the wax cake that formed on the surface of the milk, and pour the medicine into a bottle and put it in the refrigerator. Take ¼ cup 3-4 times a day.
- Take the pharmacy tincture of propolis with a low percentage of alcohol. Preheat a glass of boiling water and add to it 20 drops of the drug, mix and take ½ cup 2-3 times a day.

Tincture of propolis with milk from a cough
Adhesive brownish or green, produced by bees - it's propolis. It consists of essential oils, resins, wax and pollen. It contains a whole complex of vitamins, minerals and other useful substances. On its basis, many different preparations are made.
Particular attention deserves tincture of propolis with milk from cough. This combination is effective for various colds: tonsillitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis and other pathologies from the upper or lower respiratory tract.
The medicine has the following properties:

The tincture can be purchased at the pharmacy or prepared independently. Take 10 g propolis and 90 ml 70% medical alcohol. Heat the alcohol in a water bath to 50 degrees and add the crushed raw material into it, stir until dissolved. The mixture should not boil. Once all the propolis has dissolved, the medicine can be drained into a container of dark glass and stored in a cool place for over a year.
Milk gives a tincture of softness and enhances the positive effect on the body. The remedy not only softens the throat, but also contributes to a good sputum discharge from the lungs. Consider the most effective recipes:
- Preheat 500 ml of milk and add to it two tablespoons of tincture, mix well. Boil the medium over a low heat for 15-20 minutes. Take 1 teaspoon 20 minutes before eating.
- Dissolve 2-3 drops of tincture in 50-100 ml of hot milk. Take the medication one hour before meals and before bedtime for a week.
- A couple drops of tincture, add a glass of warm milk and mix well. To improve the taste, honey or sugar can be added to the product.
Take medicine with extreme caution, since exceeding the dosage of propolis can cause side reactions. In some patients, this is manifested by irritation of the oral mucosa, various disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, and deterioration in overall well-being. The product is contraindicated for asthmatics, allergy sufferers, with a tendency to dermatological reactions and patients younger than 12 years.
