An important diagnostic role is played by a portion of urine atypical shade. Urine in the mornings of red color is the allocation of red blood cells in the first portion and a clear indication of the localization of the disease. As a rule, the pathogenesis develops in the urethra (urethra), in men it is the prostate gland.

Morning change in urine in the color index signals the initial stage of hematuria. Urine in the morning is red - this means that the allocation of red blood cells occurs in the urethra. Causes that can provoke such a symptom as urine in the mornings of red color:

  • Hemangioma of the urethra.
  • Inflammation of the urethra of an infectious or bacterial etiology.
  • Cancer of the urethra.
  • Trauma of the urethra after catheterization.
  • Prostate cancer.

The initial urine of red color should be differentiated from other symptoms, similar in clinical manifestations. Urethrorrhagia may also manifest itself in the morning, but this bleeding occurs regardless of urination - blood expires, mixed with urine, but can also be an independent phenomenon. The causes of urethrorrhagia are as follows:

  • Subcooling.
  • Tear of the mucous tissue of the urethra.
  • Polyp of the urethra.

Differential diagnosis is carried out on the basis of physical examination, laboratory tests of blood and urine, using instrumental methods. In general, the morning appearance of hematuria is a fairly obvious clinical sign, indicating the direction of all diagnostic procedures in the future.
