Edema in pregnant women is in vain considered inevitable and typical phenomenon accompanying the period of pregnancy. As well as swelling in women who do not plan to give birth, in men who are not going to become fathers, edema in a pregnant woman is a sign of uncharacteristic changes and possible diseases in the body.
When there is swelling in pregnant women?
Edema in pregnant women, manifested at the end of the second and during the third semester, is a standard feature. How is swelling in pregnant women diagnosed?
- Regular weighing, monitoring of body weight in dynamics;
- Examination of the urinary system - evaluation of diuresis (how much is drunk and allocated with urine). Norm: 1000 ml was drunk, 750-800 ml was allocated;
- Circumference measurements of legs, arms, abdomen. Monitoring and observation in dynamics;
- The sample is blistery. A small amount of physiological solution is injected into the inner zone of the forearm. The blister that forms, normally should disappear, dissolve within 1-1,5 hours. If the body delays the fluid beyond normal, the blister dissolves in half an hour. This is called puffiness readiness.

- Reduce the amount of salt food consumed, or completely abandon it, restrict the body to salt, but in moderation;
- To exclude from a diet smoked dishes, sharp and pickled products. Food is steamed;
