Popular and effective suppositories from thrush:
- Clotrimazole is an inexpensive suppository that kills not only a fungal infection, but many other harmful microorganisms. In some women, after applying these suppositories, allergic reactions appear. Therefore, before using them, it is better to consult a doctor.
- Fluconazole - helps to cope with the chronic form of the disease. The course takes 6-7 days. In rare cases, side effects occur: dizziness, intestinal disorders, dermatological reactions.

Treatment of thrush with ointments
Elimination of yeast fungal infection with ointments is not only an effective, but also a safe method of therapy, which has a minimum of contraindications. Ointment is included in the group of topical preparations, active components, which after application to the skin or mucous membrane destroy the fungus that provokes the disease. The active substances do not penetrate the systemic circulation, therefore they are safe for use. The medicine can be used as a separate medicine, and as part of complex therapy of affected external genitalia, vagina, skin and mucous membranes.
As a rule, ointment is prescribed for pregnancy and lactation, for patients of child age, with mild disease and liver damage. Local medicines are less toxic, unlike capsules and tablets.
Advantages of ointment:

Cream for treatment of thrush

The cream is a medicine that is absorbed into the systemic circulation and has a therapeutic effect on the entire body. - Clotrimazole - an antifungal cream, effectively eliminates itching, redness and burning. After application penetrates into the blood and destroys the fungus. In small amounts, it can block the spread of the infection, but therapeutic doses completely kill the fungus. It is recommended to apply at least twice a day, gently rubbing into the affected areas. During therapy, sexual intercourse is not recommended, in addition, the partner must undergo treatment. - Pimafucin is a medicament with active substance natamcone. Refers to antibiotics with fungicidal action. Gels for treatment of thrush
Another remedy for the treatment of candidiasis is gels, that is, agents for topical application. The most common drug in this category is Clotrimazole 1% with a wide range of antifungal effects. Another effective medicine is Antifungol gel with active substance clotrimazole. It acts on infected genitals, eliminating itching and burning. Kandinorm
Kandinorm - gel with anticancer action. Has an overwhelming effect on yeast fungi, violates the integrity of their membranes, has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal activity. Maintains the acidity of the vagina at a normal level, promotes the growth of physiological microflora and stimulates immunity. The drug is effective for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes. Eliminates itching, burning, irritation and redness in the intimate area.
Candinorm consists of two gels, which are intended for external and intravaginal use:
- A tube of 30 ml should be applied to intimate zones during hygiene procedures, but not more often 1-2 times a day. This gel eliminates pathological discharge and other unpleasant symptoms, softens the mucous membrane, has a fungicidal effect. One tube is designed for 6 applications, that is, one course of treatment.
- A tube of 6 ml is used intravaginally. The gel should be applied once in the throat, preferably at bedtime. Contraindicated apply during menstruation. Perhaps a short-term burning that occurs due to the condition of the mucous membrane of the vagina, infected with a fungal infection. The medicine restores the microflora.
Active substances - inulin 0.1%, caprylic acid, 1.2%, thymol, 0.05%, saponin 1%, aloin 1% and emodin aloe 1%. Has no contraindications and does not cause side effects, is allowed during pregnancy.
