Classification of peptic ulcer
By localization:
- stomach ulcers;
- ulcers of the duodenum;
- combined ulcers of the stomach and duodenum.
By the stage of the disease:
- exacerbation;
- remission.
By the presence of complications.
- Possible complications: bleeding, penetration, perforation, stenosis.
