Malignant fibrous histiocytoma of bone is a high-grade tumor with an unknown incidence. The tumor's main constituents are histiocyte-like cells and spindle-shaped fibroblasts, which are present in varying proportions.

Symptoms

The clinical picture of MFH is similar to that of osgeogenic sarcoma. Radiological differential diagnostics has a certain meaning in the presence of the lytic form of bone tumor, since such a picture cannot be present in malignant fibrous histiocytoma.

Diagnosis and treatment

The principles of diagnosis and treatment program for bone MFG are the same as those for osgeogenic sarcoma.

Forecast

The prognosis for bone marrow sarcoma is somewhat worse than for osteogenic sarcoma, but there are no exact figures on this matter.
