Causes of the adenoma of the kidney
The causes of renal adenoma are unknown. There is an increase in the risk of morbidity in smokers. Morphologically, the kidney adenoma is very similar to the highly differentiated renal cell carcinoma, and there is a hypothesis that it is an early form of renal adenocarcinoma.
