Crimea-Congo hemorrhagic fever

Crimea-Congo hemorrhagic fever was first described on the basis of flash materials in the Crimea (Chumakov MP, 1944-1947), therefore it was called Crimean hemorrhagic fever (CGL). Later, cases of a similar disease were recorded in the Congo (1956), where in 1969 a virus was identified that was similar in antigenic properties to the Crimean hemorrhagic fever virus.

Hemorrhagic fevers of the family Bunyaviridae

The Bunyaviridae family numbers more than 250 serotypes of the viruses that make up the five genera: Bunyavirus, Phlebovirus, Nairovirus, Hantavirus, Tospovirus. Typical viruses of these genera are: Bunyamver virus, Sicily mosquito fever virus, Nairobi sheep disease virus and Hantaan virus, respectively.

South American haemorrhagic fevers

South American haemorrhagic fevers (Argentine, Bolivian, Venezuelan) are common only in these regions and pose a serious problem for local health authorities.

Laos fever

Laos fever is an acute zoonotic natural-focal viral disease from a group of particularly dangerous viral infections in Africa. Characterized by the phenomena of universal capillarotoxicosis, liver, kidney, central nervous system, high lethality. Clinically manifested by fever, hemorrhagic syndrome, the development of renal failure.

Viral haemorrhagic fevers are a group of special natural focal infectious diseases that are recorded on all continents of the world, except Australia. Diseases are characterized by specific damage to the system of hemostasis (vascular, platelet and plasma links), multiorgan pathology with the development of severe hemorrhagic and intoxication syndromes, high lethality.
