Diagnostics of the chondroblastoma in a child
On X-rays and CT, an eccentrically located lesion focus with clear boundaries and a tendency to spread to the metaphysis area is revealed in the epiphysis of the tubular bone. The presence of zones of calcification gives the internal structure of the focus a speckled appearance. When scintigraphy, both local hypervascularization (on average 170%) and hyperfixation of the radiopharmaceutical (average 230%) are recorded.
