The diverticulum of the bladder is a saccular protrusion of the wall outward, communicating with the main cavity.
This variant of the anomaly is formed in those cases when the bubble segment remains unlicensed. As a rule, the diverticulum of the bladder is asymptomatic and can be a random finding with ultrasound or X-ray examination (cystography). Sometimes patients are marked with periodic leukocyturia. Large lesions occur in patients with prune-belly syndrome and in 10% of cases are combined with the valve of the posterior part of the urethra.
Forms
The diverticulum of the bladder can be single or multiple, truly congenital or false (acquired). For the true formation is characterized by the presence of all layers of the wall, with a false one - a protrusion of the mucosa between the detrusor muscle bundles, most often caused by the IVO, is detected.
Diagnostics of the diverticulum of the bladder
Diagnose the diverticulum of the bladder (in the absence of infection) in most cases, accidentally when performing cystoscopy or cystography. Sometimes stones are found in the cavity of formation. If there is a disease, stasis occurs, cystitis develops. Because of congenital disorders in the morphological structure of the wall of education, it is extremely difficult to treat cystitis.
In most cases, the diverticulum of the bladder is located on the posterolateral wall and in the region of the ureter's mouth, much less often in the region of the apex and bottom. It has a different value, sometimes reaching the size of the organ itself. With cystoscopy, a message is found between them, in a number of cases, through the latter without obstacles, it is possible to insert a cystoscope. In individual observations, one of the ureteral orifices opens into the cavity of formation.

Treatment of the diverticulum of the bladder
The disease is treated only operatively - complete excision: with the localization of the ureteral mouth in the cavity of the formation is shown ureterodastoanastomosis.
If the acquired diverticulum of the bladder is diagnosed, the cause that caused the passage of urine in the infravesical region is eliminated.
