Perspiration of feet is more correctly called hyperhidrosis of feet. All the skin covers, literally from the head to the feet, contain glands secreting moisture, thus performing the function of thermoregulation and elimination of toxins from the body. The skin contains about three million glands, which sweat out, about three hundred thousand feet. Increased sweating can be purely physiological - with an increase in body temperature, in hot weather, when the body tries to adjust the temperature balance. Also, the sweating of the legs is not considered pathological in cases of intense physical exertion or training. However, excessive sweating can also signal internal dysfunctions, in addition, hyperhidrosis is a real calamity causing a lot of anxiety, as sweating of the legs is accompanied by a specific odor. The smell of sweat is not considered comfortable for the sense of smell, and the feet exude a particularly unpleasant smell, which is heard not only by the owner of sweating feet, but also by everyone around them. Smell is the result of a pathological union of bacteria that are on the skin, and secreted sweat. In addition, high humidity creates favorable conditions for the development of fungal diseases, joining microscopes that already exist, create a particularly specific smell characteristic of mycosis.
Factors that cause sweating of the feet are diverse, but most often refer to the elementary non-observance of the rules of personal hygiene.
Perspiration of the feet, causes
- Uncomfortable shoes, narrow, tight, of poor-quality material. Wearing fashionable, but uncomfortable shoes, is typical of many young people, both female and representatives of the strong half of humanity. It is also incorrect from the point of view of hygiene to stay a full day in closed shoes on polyurethane or rubber soles. Any synthetics closes the air access to the skin, it concerns shoes and socks, tights. In a closed "greenhouse" atmosphere, microorganisms - bacteria, microbes, multiply rapidly reproduce the specific odor of sweat due to the fruits of their vital activity.
- Stress and emotional overstrain. The sweat glands, more precisely their function of excretion, are controlled by a part of the nervous system - the vegetative system, as well as the spinal cord. In turn, the vegetative system is subject to the brain, especially the area of the brain that controls the impressions and sensations. Any stress, fear, anxiety causes muscle tension, provoking the release of certain hormones. And the body tries to remove the products of active hormonal activity with the help of sweat glands.
- Violation, non-compliance with basic rules of personal hygiene, poor, irregular care of stops.
- Endocrine dysfunctions, pathologies of internal organs, oncological process. Hyperhidrosis is a compensatory symptom in these cases, when the body tries to remove itself, harmful substances, toxins through the sweat glands.
- Fungus, dermatomycosis of the foot. This disease, which is transmitted by contact, infected people who do not observe the rule of "privacy" of shoes and linen, that is, they can afford to wear someone else's shoes or visit public places (swimming pool, baths, saunas) without shoes. Fungal diseases are treated long and complex, as mycosis often spreads all over the body, affecting the hands, the groin and even the head.
Sweating of the feet is neutralized primarily by the observance of regular personal hygiene. Careful care of your feet can relieve not only from an unpleasant odor, but also is the best prevention of fungal diseases.
