Symptoms of idiopathic telangiectasies
Teleangiectasias are usually asymptomatic. However, some patients report a burning sensation or pain, and many women even consider small telangiectasies to be cosmologically unacceptable.
What do need to examine?
Treatment of idiopathic telangiectasias
Teleangiectasias can be eliminated by intracapillary injection of 0.3% sodium tetradecyl sulfate solution through a very thin needle. Also sometimes use a hypertonic 23.4% solution of sodium chloride, but it causes a rather severe temporary limited pain. With extensive foci or telangiectasias, several stages of treatment may be required. Pigmentation is possible, but usually it disappears, often completely. If an injection of the sclerosing agent is performed past the vessel or has too much volume, it can lead to the formation of skin ulcers. Laser treatment is effective, but with a large area of change, several stages of therapy may be needed. Small telangiectasias may persist or recur after the first treatment session.
