Chiropractic

In chiropractic it is believed that the relationship between the structure of the spine and the function of the nervous system is the key to maintaining or restoring health. The main method of achieving balance is spinal manipulation.

Chiropractic is often useful in the treatment of lower back pain, headaches and strangulated nerve syndrome. In general, however, evidence of the effectiveness of manipulation in the treatment of disorders not directly related to the musculoskeletal system has not been established. Serious complications caused by spinal manipulation (for example, pain in the lower back, damage to the occipital nerves, damage to the cervical arteries) are rare.

Massage Therapy

Manipulation of the body tissues is used to improve the general condition of a person and reduce pain and stress. The therapeutic value of massage for many musculoskeletal disorders and stress is widely known. It is proved that massage helps to reduce muscle sensitivity, pain due to back injuries and fibromyalgia, and also helps to reduce nervous anxiety in patients with cancer. Massage therapy is also effective in treating infants with low birth weight, preventing damage to the maternal genitalia during childbirth, alleviating chronic constipation and managing asthma.

Reflexology

The variety of massage therapy is based on the pressure of the hands applied to certain areas of the legs; these areas are believed to correspond to different organs or systems of the body through the meridians. It is believed that the excitation of these areas eliminates the blockage of energy responsible for pain or disease in the relevant part of the body.
