Orthomolecular Medicine
This therapy, also called megavitamin therapy, uses combinations of high doses of vitamins, minerals and amino acids to treat certain disorders. Some of the most common orthomolecular treatments use shark cartilage for cancer treatment, chelation therapy to remove toxic materials from the bloodstream and treat cardiovascular disorders, essential fatty acids and vitamins for the treatment of hyperactivity disorder, which is usually not given enough attention, and also other mental disorders.
