Warts are just an external manifestation of the activity of the human papillomavirus (HPV). When it is removed, the virus itself does not disappear. There are still no drugs that can kill it. Natural immunity itself is able to fight HPV, and if it is weakened, the wart may well grow back.
Wart grew after removal
What can make the virus wake up? We feel reduced immunity by the development of frequent colds, their long course and various complications, the appearance of herpes on the lips and other parts of the body, fungal diseases, poor health, rapid fatigue. What affects the body's defenses? The main reasons that reduce it include:
- hormonal imbalances;
- unbalanced diet, lack of vitamins and minerals;
- severe genetic diseases;
- HIV infection;
- frequent stress and lack of sleep;
- physical overload;
- long stay in places with poor ecology;
- previous surgeries and injuries;
- taking antibiotics for a long period, chemotherapy;
- hereditary predisposition to immunodeficiency.
All of the listed factors can provoke the reappearance of the growth.
Wart appearance after laser removal
Today, the procedure for removing warts and moles is the most effective and popular. Its advantage is that it is painless, does not require anesthesia (in some cases, local anesthesia is used), does not take much time (on average 10 minutes), and makes it possible to remove up to ten neoplasms in one session.
The recovery period after it is not too long, it does not leave behind any scars. Many people are attracted to this method of getting rid of warts because there is no direct contact with the instrument, which means there is no danger of getting infected with another dangerous infection.
Having become familiar with such characteristics, patients believe in the safety and success of this manipulation and are very surprised that the wart has grown again after laser removal. But the method of removal does not affect the human papilloma virus in any way, it can become active again under the circumstances listed above.
The child has developed a wart
Warts in children often go away on their own. If parents are worried that the child is injuring it, which means there is a possibility of it becoming malignant, do not want to expose other family members to the risk of infection, it causes discomfort, then the growth is removed. In no case should you do this yourself at home, but only in the doctor's office.
What to do if the wart grows back after this? It is best to consult a dermatologist, pediatrician, or maybe even an immunologist.
In the case of both adults and children, there may be reasons to undergo examination, to seek immune stimulation. Immunomodulators are not always used here, more often natural factors: more fresh air, sports, herbal teas, fruits, vegetables, swimming in open water in summer, vitamin complexes.
