What causes colonic dyskinesias?

Causes of colon dyskinesia include many causes, both endogenous and exogenous. The following are important:

hereditary burden - constipation, vegetative dystonia, metabolic and endocrine disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, adrenal cortex insufficiency);
acute intestinal infections suffered in the first months of life;
early transfer to artificial feeding;
food allergy;
dietary errors - consumption of refined, purified foods, deficiency of plant fiber;
hemorrhoids, anal fissures;
some medications - anesthetics, muscle relaxants, anticonvulsants, anticholinergics, opiates, diuretics, calcium channel blockers, nicotinic acid.

In the pathogenesis of dyskinesia of the colon the following are important:

disorders of neurohumoral regulation (vegetative dystonia, viscero-visceral influences, disorders of central and spinal innervation, psychoemotional factors, endocrine pathology);
disturbances in the motility of the distal parts of the intestine, disturbances in the relationship between propulsive and retrograde motility of the colon, increased intestinal response to alimentary, medicinal and stressful effects;
changes in the rate of transit of contents through the intestines with bowel disorders and increased mucus formation.
