In nephrology and urology, such a phenomenon as urinary syndrome is increasingly encountered. This is a pathology that is a change in the composition, color and other characteristics of urine. This can be an important diagnostic sign that indicates various pathologies. It is important to be able to correctly interpret the results obtained. In medicine, urinary syndromes are distinguished that accompany various kidney diseases.
Treatment requires mandatory hospitalization, since the treatment requires a comprehensive approach, the use of complex methods, injections, physiotherapy procedures. Often, drugs are used that are approved for use only in a hospital setting. Also, successful treatment requires constant medical and nursing supervision, monitoring of the effectiveness of therapy using diagnostic methods, and monitoring the treatment process in dynamics. Strict adherence to bed rest, diet, strict drug therapy according to the schedule, and adequate rest are important.
Medicines
The use of medicines should be carried out under strict supervision of a physician and nursing staff. It is necessary to observe basic precautions: do not self-medicate, strictly adhere to the prescribed regimen and regimen for taking medications, and follow other doctor's instructions. This will help avoid side effects (such as progression of the inflammatory and infectious process, glomerulonephritis, impaired renal filtration, infiltration, absorption).
In the presence of a bacterial infection, it is recommended to take antibiotics. Amoxiclav is considered the most effective in the treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system. This is a drug that belongs to a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Take 500 mg per day (1 tablet). The course of treatment is designed for three days. If the effectiveness is insufficient, the course of treatment can be extended to 7 days. Or a second course is prescribed after a week's break.
If amoxiclav is not effective enough, or if there is a severe, advanced or progressive infection of bacterial origin, antibiotics of the fluoroquinolone group are prescribed, for example, ciprofloxacin. It is also recommended to take 500 mg per day (1 tablet). The course of treatment is on average 5-7 days, but can be extended to 10-14 days.
During therapy, uroseptics may be required, which have an antiseptic effect directly on the urinary organs. Urolesan is prescribed as such drugs (15-20 drops per dose). Three times a day.
As a painkiller, no-shpa is prescribed, one tablet 3-4 times a day. It not only relieves pain, but also relaxes muscles, relieves hypertonicity, spasm. The course of treatment is 10 days.
Clinical guidelines
When treating urinary syndrome, it is important not only to take medications and follow the doctor's recommendations, but also to follow a work and rest regimen, and most importantly, to follow a diet. Without a diet, no treatment will be effective. You also need plenty of fluids and bed rest.
The diet is strict - you should follow diet No. 7. It implies the exclusion of all spicy, fatty foods, fried foods, as well as spices, marinades, smoked foods from the diet. The food should not be spicy. All alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Carbonated drinks and water should also be excluded. Drinking coffee and strong tea is also not recommended.
The basis of the diet should be first courses, meat and fish broths, fruits, vegetables, preferably boiled or steamed. Fresh fruits and vegetables are also not always useful, as they can create an additional load on the kidneys. Boiled meat, fish (low-fat varieties) have a good effect on the urinary system. Dairy products, boiled eggs, low-fat cottage cheese are also recommended to be included in the diet. It is recommended to drink at least 2-3 liters of liquid per day.

Physiotherapy treatment
Physiotherapy is used as part of a comprehensive treatment, and mainly after the acute phase of exacerbation has passed. Various methods of physiotherapy treatment are used. The main methods of influence are treatment with ultrasound, microcurrents, waves of different lengths. Electrophoresis is used, with the help of which drugs are introduced directly into the damaged tissue. The depth of their penetration is regulated by microcurrent. Sometimes electrical procedures are used.
Acupuncture, also known as acupuncture, is a fairly effective method. In recent years, such treatment methods as apitherapy and hirudotherapy have become quite popular. The essence of apitherapy is bee stings and providing a therapeutic effect through enzymes that they release into the blood when biting. Hirudotherapy means treatment with leeches. These methods are especially often used in sanatorium treatment.
