In search of new effective methods, more and more patients prefer to treat psoriasis at the Dead Sea.
Psoriasis is an inflammatory process in the epidermis of a recurring chronic nature. An unpleasant disease of both medical and cosmetic nature. Unfortunately, today no medication can guarantee stable remission.
Dead Sea Cosmetics for Psoriasis
Israeli scientists have developed medical cosmetics of various types, including products for the treatment of psoriasis, the main component of which is the Salt Lake product. The complex preparation directly affects the affected cells, slowing their growth, relieves itching and removes dead, exfoliated skin flakes.
Dead Sea mineral salt is used for baths or wraps.
- Bath. Before this procedure, wash your skin with soap. Pour hot water into the bath and dissolve up to a kilogram of sea salt in it. You can lie in such water for no more than 15 - 20 minutes. After completing the procedure, wash off the remaining salt from the body under the shower. Wrap up and stay warm for at least another hour. The health procedure can be carried out three times a week for one and a half months.
- Wrap. Dissolve two to three teaspoons of salt in a liter of warm water. Soak the prepared cloth in the brine, squeeze out the excess and wrap the problem area. Secure the top with cellophane and a warm woolen blanket. Leave the compress on for 25 to 30 minutes. Then take a shower, washing off the remaining salt. It is recommended to use wraps three times a week for one and a half months.
Baths and wraps are contraindicated only in the presence of open wounds.

Dead Sea Mud for Psoriasis
The causes of this disease have not been fully studied to date. Therefore, it cannot be stated that the advertised Dead Sea mud for psoriasis will completely, once and for all, solve all problems. But the persistent remission that occurs after a full course of treatment with silt deposits is an excellent confirmation of the high efficiency of this product.
Numerous studies and clinical observations conducted by scientists and doctors have shown a positive result when Dead Sea mud is applied to skin areas affected by psoriasis. However, it is worth paying attention to the degree of the disease and the individual characteristics of the patient's body. Every year, Dead Sea mud for psoriasis is becoming more and more popular, and the number of people wishing to visit Dead Sea health resorts is increasing.
Mud applications are performed twice a day and last for one hour. To achieve a lasting effect, the procedure should be done for three weeks. The patient will be able to notice the first results after seven days of mud therapy (but this is strictly individual). The positive aspects of such compresses include the absence of negative side effects.
At the same time, the mud of the Dead Sea:
- Excellent for removing toxins from the body.

- Thanks to deep penetration, it saturates the skin and subcutaneous layers with vitamins and minerals.

Reviews of psoriasis treatment at the dead sea
After being diagnosed with psoriasis, many patients withdraw into themselves, minimizing communication with family and friends. For many, a health trip to Israel is the last hope to raise the quality of their lives to a new, higher level. Reading reviews of psoriasis treatment at the Dead Sea from patients who have undergone a basic course of treatment, you come across only enthusiastic impressions. Patients note both the high quality of service and the professional consultation and diagnostics of specialists. “Three weeks and the expected event has happened. The skin has cleared up, the appearance has become like before the disease. No amount of money is a pity for this,” is the opinion of many respondents.
The remission periods after the treatment are also noted. Repeated treatment, lasting 25 days, consolidated the remission for three years.” The result is impressive.
For many patients, psoriasis treatment at the Dead Sea is the last hope to return to their normal life and gain confidence. After all, as officially confirmed by doctors, the climate and products of the Dead Sea are an excellent means of combating this recurring chronic disease.
