Vitamins
Treatment and prevention of any diseases of the body, including disorders of the genitourinary system, includes strengthening immunity. Vitamins are prescribed in combination with basic therapy. Consider the most necessary substances for the body, which contribute to the recovery of pollakiuria:
- Vitamin A - maintains health at the cellular level. Prevents bacterial invasion. It is necessary for normal deposition of glycogen in the kidneys. Deficiency of beta-carotene leads to violations of the regenerative abilities of the body and the process of bile secretion.
- Vitamins of group B - B1 participate in the formation of proteins, fats, carbohydrate metabolism. B2 is needed for normal functioning of the kidneys and blood vessels. B6 is part of the enzyme and is necessary for the formation of renal transaminases. B12 regulates the functions of hematopoiesis.
- Vitamin C - takes part in metabolic processes, it is necessary to increase the protective properties of the immune system. Suppresses the growth of E. Coli, is involved in the formation of certain hormones, regulates the permeability of vascular tissues.
- Vitamin E - stabilizes and maintains the integrity of the renal membranes. Participates in metabolic processes, strengthens immunity.
- Nicotinic acid (niacin, vitamin PP, vitamin B3) - is needed for energy exchange in kidney cells.
- Bromelain - a digestive enzyme, a catalyst for protein and fat metabolism. Possesses anti-inflammatory and regenerating properties. Normalizes the work of the intestines and the functioning of the urinary tract. Contained in the stems of pineapple.
- Zinc - has a disinfectant effect, contributes to the elimination of infectious processes in the body.
Vitamins are better taken for medical purposes, as some of them have diuretic properties, which will only aggravate an already painful condition.
Physiotherapeutic treatment
To accelerate recovery in disorders of the urinary system, many patients are prescribed physiotherapy.
The most popular physiotherapy:
- Electrophoresis is the delivery of medicinal components to a painful area with the help of an electric current. Has a relaxing and soothing effect, eliminates inflammation and internal leakage.
- Magnetotherapy - treatment is based on the creation of magnetic fields. The organ to which the exposure occurs is purified from viruses and toxins. A special device - an inductor, is located in the area of the affected organ, supplying the tissues with blood and restoring the normal state of the genitourinary system.
- Inductothermy - creates an electromagnetic field that produces mechanical energy that translates into a thermal effect. Expands blood vessels, activates the work of the urinary tract and improves blood circulation. Has anti-inflammatory effect, restores affected tissues.
- Hyperthermia is the impact on damaged areas and inflamed tissues with the help of radiation and chemotherapeutic devices. Promotes local increase in temperature of the affected tissues. Thanks to this, viruses and bacteria are destroyed.
- Magnitophoresis is the introduction of medicaments into the tissues and mucous membranes of the bladder by means of a magnetic field of low frequency of action.
- Laser and short-pulse electroanalgesia (percutaneous electroneurostimulation) - on the body are affected by a series of electrical pulses at high speed. The procedure eliminates the pain in the lower abdomen and bladder, stimulates the genitourinary system and the digestive tract. Has anti-inflammatory effect, reduces spasms, promotes resorption of edema.
- EHF therapy - on the patient's body is affected by an electromagnetic field of extremely high frequency. Radiation waves penetrate quite deeply, eliminating microbes and harmful microorganisms. The method has anti-inflammatory properties.
- Endovezical phonophoresis - before the procedure, a special medicinal composition is applied to the skin. The doctor conducts an ultrasonic electrode over the skin, regulating the power and depth of penetration of the waves. The procedure has a prolonged action.
In addition to the above physiotherapy procedures for the restoration of women's health, special gymnastics is prescribed. First of all, it is Kegel exercises for the pelvic floor muscles. They help control the process of urination, increase the muscle tone of the genitourinary system. With regular exercise of gymnastics, the dysuric syndrome passes through 1-3 months.
Alternative treatment of frequent urination in women
With frequent urination, women undergo various treatment procedures and special medications are prescribed. Alternative treatment refers to non-traditional methods. Consider the most effective recipes:
- Healing baths with hay, pine branches and oat straw. All the ingredients must be crushed, pour 3-5 liters of water and cook over medium heat for 25-30 minutes. The resulting broth is filtered and added to the bath. The procedures are carried out for 15-20 minutes, after which you should put on warm underwear.
- To prepare a medical compress, take a tablespoon of horsetail and pour 500 ml of water. Cook over low heat for 10-20 minutes. Dampen the towel in the broth and attach to the bottom of the stomach. The procedure is best done before bedtime.
- A teaspoon of birch buds, pour 250 ml of boiling water and let it brew for 3 hours. The received drink is taken 100 ml 3-4 times a day.

Before starting treatment with herbal remedies, you should consult your doctor and determine the presence of allergic reactions to herbal components.
Homeopathy
A rather controversial method of treating dysuric syndrome is homeopathy. With frequent urge to the toilet to empty the bladder, the following tools are used:
- Acidum benzoicum is a dark colored urine with an unpleasant, pungent odor, there are rezi and burning sensations.
- Acidum fluoricum - day-time pollakiuria.
- Aconitum is a disorder caused by nervous experiences, stress, fear.
- Aloe - frequent desires, but poor allocation of urine. The liquid is colored and there is an unpleasant smell.
- Arsenicum album - nocturia.
- Causticum - pollakiuria in old age, with menopause or hypothermia.
- Shina - desires a little in a complex with constipation, burning and itching.
- Dulcamara - a pathological condition caused by hypothermia and a sharp change in temperature.
- Equisetum is a chronic pollakiuria with no established cause.
- Nux vomica - frequent and rapid urge in the toilet in conjunction with colic in the urethra, constipation or involuntary bowel movement.
Homeopathic remedies are used only for medical purposes, with individual selection of dosage for each patient. Since the effectiveness of homeopathy is not confirmed scientifically and by medical tests, it can not be used as a monotherapy for a disease state.
Surgery
To date, there are many methods of surgical treatment, eliminating frequent urination and fluid incontinence. Many of them are designed to restore the anatomically correct position of the urethra and the neck of the bladder, while others increase the capacity of the organ.
The choice of the operating method depends on a number of factors, such as: the general condition of the patient, the presence of chronic diseases, the prolapse of the uterus or urea, the effect of drug therapy, and more.
Most often, patients undergo such operations:
- Sling is the installation of a synthetic loop. This method is effective for many pathological causes and forms of dysuric syndrome. To place a loop in the body, the surgeon makes small incisions and draws a net through them. It is located under the organs in the form of a hammock, preventing their descent. The result of such a procedure is noticeable within a few hours, has a short rehabilitation period and allows the use of local anesthesia. In addition, sling is allowed for patients with scar tissue changes in the pelvic region.
- Colpospexia is the fixation of the cervix and vagina in an anatomically correct position, which does not disturb the excretion of fluid from the body. This operation is quite traumatic, therefore it requires a long rehabilitation.
- Injection methods
- The introduction of a dry substance into the tissue, which affects the muscles and nerve endings. The result of treatment is noticeable in a week and is maintained for 6-12 months, after which the procedure must be repeated.
- The introduction of volume-forming gels is most often used for stressful pollakiuria and incontinence. During the procedure, a temporary volumetric replacement of the tissues occurs by injection into the submucosa.
The advantage of injection methods in their relative safety and minimal invasiveness. The procedures are performed on an outpatient basis, ideal for both nulliparous patients and those planning a pregnancy. Rehabilitation period takes a couple of hours.
- Neuromodulation - eliminates an arbitrary contraction of the bladder, i.e., urge incontinence. The treatment is based on implantation in the spinal cord of the electrode, which regulates the reflexes of the bladder, urethra and pelvic muscles.
Any surgical intervention is contraindicated during pregnancy, with kidney failure, problems with blood coagulability or immunodeficiency states. After surgery, some patients face temporary complications, which are most often associated with non-compliance with post-operative procedures.
