If you delve into the meaning of the pathology, then diffuse changes in the myometrium, which are often direct evidence of adenomyosis, turn out to be a serious pathology, which even traditional medicine cannot always cope with adequately. So is it really possible that folk treatment, which, according to many doctors, is significantly inferior in effectiveness to classical methods and drugs, can solve the problem?
It is difficult to say what is more effective in the case of endometriosis: classical treatment regimens or folk recipes, because in most cases women combine them. Classical hormonal therapy always carries a risk of various complications. After all, it is actually aimed at inducing artificial menopause. And although doctors say that this phenomenon is reversible, returning to the previous state does not always guarantee recovery and the ability to conceive a child, but you can get new health problems not only in the reproductive system.
Women understand this and try their best to reduce the course of such treatment. And many even refuse it in favor of folk remedies, which are much safer. And how can you deny their logic if traditional treatment of diffuse changes in the myometrium still does not give lasting results and the disease subsequently recurs.
What effective folk remedies for endometriosis are in the arsenal of folk healers? Let's look at several popular recipes that may help some patients to heal and, ultimately, experience the joy of motherhood.
Clay therapy. Perhaps the method of treating diffuse changes in the myometrium with clay may seem dubious to some women, after all, it is a thermal procedure, which is considered extremely undesirable for this pathology, but many women who have gotten rid of endometriosis say that this method helped them.
True, not all clay is suitable for treatment. It is believed that the best effect can be achieved using blue or gray clay, and it is better to buy it at a pharmacy to be sure that it does not contain sand or other unwanted impurities.
For one procedure you will need 500-800 g of clay. In the evening it should be filled with warm water so that it slightly covers the clay. Overnight the clay will be saturated with moisture and settle to the bottom.
In the morning, drain off the excess liquid and mix well until the mass becomes homogeneous and resembles homemade sour cream in consistency. Now heat the clay over a fire, placing it in an enamel saucepan. Some of the liquid will evaporate.
Hot clay should be placed on the prepared sheet and formed into a large cake about 2.5 cm thick so that it covers almost the entire lower abdomen from the navel. Using oilcloth, place the warm cake on the stomach, wrap it with a warm cloth on top and go to bed for exactly 2 hours. During this time, the clay will take on the disease and all the bad things from the woman's body. It cannot be kept for more than 2 hours, since the reverse process begins.
After the procedure, the stomach must be washed with warm water and the recovery must be prepared, which usually occurs after 6-8 clay compresses. The treatment is carried out daily, 1 procedure per day. But there is an important condition for the effectiveness of this method: for each subsequent procedure, you need to take fresh clay, and throw away the used clay, which has absorbed all the negativity.
Beekeeping products. Honey and propolis can be used to treat endometriosis. These valuable substances contain antimicrobial components and a sufficient amount of useful substances to restore the metabolism in damaged tissues and make them function properly. An important condition for safe treatment is the absence of allergies to the products used.
Honey and propolis are used to prepare a composition, which is then used to soak tampons. Tampons are inserted deep into the vagina every night. The same composition, 2 teaspoons each, can be taken orally before meals or applied as a compress to the lower abdomen.
To prepare the medicine, you will need 100 g of honey and a piece of propolis weighing about 8-10 g, which will first need to be finely crushed. Heat the mixture of honey and propolis in a water bath for a quarter of an hour, then strain it several times through a couple of layers of gauze. It is recommended to keep the finished composition in the cold, warming it up before use to a lukewarm state.
To enhance the effect, you can add aloe juice (a three-year-old plant) to the tampon soaking composition. For 1 teaspoon of honey mixture, take a little fresh aloe juice and soak a tampon made of cotton wool and gauze well in the composition (you can use ready-made pharmacy "Tampax", "Obi", "Koteks", etc.).
Treatment with leeches. Hirudotherapy is considered an effective method of treating many diseases, but treatment for endometriosis and other pathologies should be carried out by a specialist using special medical (not swamp) leeches.
Onion treatment. Onion is used in folk medicine to treat many diseases, from colds to women's diseases. Onion boiled in milk is used to make tampons to treat diffuse changes in the myometrium of moderate and severe stages.
To make a medicinal tampon, you will need a small onion, which is peeled of dry husk and boiled in milk until soft. Use only the onion, which is cooled and crushed into small pieces. Place the composition in gauze folded in 2 layers and tie, giving the shape of a tampon. The homemade onion tampon should be placed deep in the vagina for 2-3 hours, leaving the "tail" outside for easy removal. A slight burning sensation is not considered a reason to refuse treatment.
Treatment with beets. Traditional healers have known since ancient times that beet juice can cure such a serious disease as cancer. True, you will have to drink 600 ml of juice daily or eat kilograms of beets. To treat endometriosis, such sacrifices are not required. It is enough to drink no more than half a glass of juice 1-3 times a day before meals. Treatment with beet juice is longer, it will take at least 2 weeks for the disease to recede.
Medicinal grains. We will not judge the effectiveness of this method of treatment, but it is worth trying at least because it will not cause harm, and the benefit to the body will be unambiguous. Hemp or flax seeds are suitable for the treatment of adenomyosis, which should be poured with boiling water and left to brew. The infusion is drunk three times a day before meals for 2 or more weeks until the symptoms of the disease go away. Such treatment can be carried out in courses several times a year to prevent relapses of the disease.
Herbal treatment
Many have probably heard about the treatment of hormonal disorders with herbs. Plants that contain substances identical in action to native estrogens produced in the female body are able to gradually restore hormonal balance. But there are also herbs that have a truly healing effect in the case of diffuse changes in the myometrium, caused again by hormonal disruptions (according to most doctors).
Even gynecologists have a positive attitude towards such female herbs as the orthilia secunda and the red brush. They often advise resorting to folk treatment with these plants, understanding that hormonal therapy is not the best solution for a young woman and a future continuer of the family line.
The orthilia secunda is a plant that has antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, resolving and sedative effects on the body. It also has analgesic and immunostimulating effects. It helps restore uterine tissue and improve the functionality of the female reproductive system.
For medicinal purposes, the entire above-ground part of the plant, harvested during the flowering period, is used. The raw material is used to prepare medicinal potions:
- Tincture on alcohol. For a glass of vodka, take 25 g of dry grass and keep the mixture for a month in a dry, cool place. Take the tincture twice a day, 35 drops, diluted in 2 tbsp. of water. The course of treatment is 21 days. It can be repeated after 2 weeks. This recipe is also suitable for the treatment of myoma or uterine fibroids, which often accompany endometriosis.
If a woman has problems with conceiving a child against the background of diffuse changes in the myometrium, the tincture is taken immediately after the end of menstruation three times a day in the same dosage. The break between courses of treatment will be shorter - only a week. And the full course of infertility treatment will take at least 6 months.
- As an option for treating cervical erosion, endometriosis, menstrual irregularities, inflammatory and adhesive processes, fibroids, infertility, you can use a healing women's collection of 3 herbs: orthilia secunda, wintergreen and wintergreen. For half a liter of hot water, take 9 tablespoons of the herbal mixture, keep the composition for 15-20 minutes in a water bath, cool, strain and take 3 times a day for half a stanan. Drink the infusion before meals.
- Another effective treatment option for endometriosis is a combination of two herbs useful for women: orthilia secunda and red brush. The second plant has an antimicrobial effect, helps cleanse the female reproductive system of everything unnecessary, normalizes hormonal levels and helps restore immunity weakened by the chronic pathological process.
In the orthilia secunda we use only the finely chopped above-ground part, and in the red brush - the underground part, i.e. the root, which must be thoroughly cleaned, washed and chopped with a knife. For 200 g of hot water we take 2 tbsp. of the prepared herbal mixture, keep the composition for a quarter of an hour in a water bath, remove from heat and insist for another half an hour. Filter the cooled composition.
Take the herbal infusion three times a day before meals, 2 tablespoons, seasoned with natural honey. The course of treatment is 2 weeks. To treat endometriosis, 3-4 such courses are required, with an interval of 7 days between them.
But before resorting to treatment with female herbs, it is necessary to study the contraindications to their use. And these are gastritis and stomach ulcers, obstruction of the fallopian tubes, pregnancy and lactation, individual intolerance.
To normalize the menstrual cycle, hormonal background and immunity, relieve inflammation in the uterus, spasmodic pain and nervous tension associated with worries about the disease and its impact on reproductive function, you can take a course of the herbal preparation "Women's Comfort-1". It contains dry extracts of the following plants:
- Chinese angelica (root),
- bluestem (root),
- Viburnum vulgare (bark),
- yellow chamelerium (root),
- Atractylodes lanceolata (root),
- Chinese belt (root),
- ginger (rhizomes),
- Lovage (root).
The drug is available in the form of oblong tablets, which should be taken 1 piece three times a day for 1.5-2 weeks half an hour before meals.
And such herbs as hemlock and peony can be used not only for internal use, but also for local treatment in the form of douching. For internal use, a tincture is intended, which is prepared on the basis of alcohol (half a liter of vodka) and a mixture of herbs (5 tablespoons). The composition is infused for 14 days in the dark. It should be taken 1 tablespoon three times a day before meals. The tincture can be washed down with water or diluted in ¼ glass of water in advance.
For daily douching, prepare a herbal decoction (2 tablespoons of plant material per 1 cup of boiling water (boil for 5-10 minutes, leave for half an hour). Take the tincture and douche for no more than 14 days.
Another useful herb for women's diseases is calendula (marigold). The flowers of this plant are used to prepare a medicinal infusion. And the infusion, in turn, is used for internal use, soaking tampons and douching. For a glass of boiling water, take 2 tablespoons of plant flowers. Infuse the composition with the lid closed until it cools.
Celandine can also be used to treat endometriosis, as it can even defeat a cancerous tumor. But it should be taken into account that this plant is poisonous, so exceeding the recommended doses is fraught with severe intoxication of the body.
An infusion or decoction can be prepared from the above-ground part of the plant, taking 1 level tablespoon of chopped grass per glass of boiling water. This medicine should be taken before meals, 50 ml three times a day. The course of treatment is no more than 2 weeks.
It should be said that folk treatment using medicinal products and herbs gives good results. With mild and moderate changes in the myometrium and endometrium, it sometimes even allows you to avoid hormonal therapy and surgery. It is important to strictly adhere to the treatment regimen and be patient.
At the same time, it is better to use folk recipes after an accurate diagnosis has been established. A good doctor will not resist the use of herbal recipes, but on the contrary, will give recommendations that will help make herbal treatment even more effective.
Homeopathy
From whatever point of view one begins to consider the creation of the Universe, it is difficult to contradict the fact that in it, and in particular on our planet, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Man is not only given life, but also given everything that could support it. The fact that we do not yet know about the healing properties of various components of the world around us does not mean that they do not exist at all. And the development of homeopathy, which successfully uses even those substances that are considered poisonous in the treatment of people, is a direct confirmation of this.
There are not many diseases that this alternative science is powerless against. Diffuse changes in the myometrium and endometriosis do not belong to their category. Homeopaths fearlessly undertake to help a woman overcome the disease without using unsafe hormonal therapy. But homeopathic doctors have different approaches to treating this pathology, because they focus not on the existing symptoms, but on the hidden causes of health problems.
The goal of homeopathic treatment is not to temporarily hide symptoms, as many patients who do not trust this "pseudoscience" think. Homeopaths try to find the root of the problem and treat not the disease itself and its symptoms, but the entire body so that it can restore its strength and cope with the disease on its own.
Homeopathy looks for the origins of pathological changes in the tissues of the genitourinary system in the human genome. According to classical homeopathy, such diseases as cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, adnexitis, uterine myoma, polycystic ovaries, endometriosis and some others arise from a predisposition to them, laid down in many generations. And the cause of this predisposition is gonorrhea, suffered by someone from distant relatives and leaving its mark in the genetic code, which is passed on from generation to generation.
Homeopaths call this trace a gonorrheal miasm and believe that it is this trace that, as a result of treatment with antibiotics (and in traditional medicine it is customary to suppress inflammation with potent drugs), moves from organ to organ and when it reaches the pituitary gland, a hormonal imbalance begins, provoking the engraftment of endometrial cells where they do not belong, and their uncontrolled reproduction.
Homeopaths consider heavy menstruation and intermenstrual bleeding with diffuse changes in the myometrium and other female diseases as weak attempts by the body to cleanse itself of the gonorrheal miasm. By fighting such a symptom, we only slow down the healing.
According to homeopaths, on the contrary, it is necessary to push the body to self-cleanse. Therefore, it is not surprising that the treatment prescribed by them is not easy: pain and bleeding worsen, productive cough appears, sweating increases. And these symptoms are considered normal in the first stages of therapy. Moreover, they indicate that the medicine has been chosen correctly. Subsequently, the woman will be convinced of this when the symptoms suddenly recede, the menstrual cycle improves and the woman happily discovers the desired 2 stripes on the test.
To normalize the menstrual cycle and reduce the pain of menstruation, the homeopathic drug Cimicifuga can be prescribed in various dilutions depending on the severity of premenstrual syndrome. It is based on the extract of the medicinal plant Actea racemosa (high black cohosh), which is considered a natural phyoestrogen. Thus, the homeopathic medicine normalizes the hormonal balance.
But this is not enough in the understanding of homeopathy. It is important for the patient to choose a general tonic that will have a healing effect on the entire body, taking into account its characteristics and concomitant diseases. And here there are no specific schemes. The prescription of the drug will be strictly individual.
In regular and specialized pharmacies, you can also buy some dietary supplements that have a positive effect on a woman’s hormonal background and correct hyperplastic processes in the tissues of the female reproductive system.
Such dietary supplements include "Indinol", which can be used for the prevention and treatment of anenomyosis, endometriosis, uterine fibroids (as part of complex therapy). The drug is taken 1-2 capsules per day with food for a course of 14-21 days.
The drug is not suitable only for those patients who have an intolerance to its components, as well as pregnant women and nursing mothers. Taking antacids significantly reduces the effectiveness of the supplement.
Dietary supplement "Epigallate", which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, is able to prevent the penetration of endometrial cells into the myometrium and inhibit the growth of myomatous formations. The drug is used to treat and prevent diseases that develop against the background of diffuse changes in the myometrium and endometrium. Its effectiveness increases when used together with the dietary supplement "Indinol".
The drug is taken 1-2 capsules twice a day. If therapy is carried out simultaneously with two drugs, then it is necessary to take 2 capsules of both dietary supplements twice a day. Treatment continues for six months. A 3-month course is sufficient to prevent relapses of the disease.
For women's health and treatment of premenstrual syndrome manifestations, typical of endometriosis and other gynecological diseases, homeopaths and traditional medicine doctors can offer a woman to undergo a course of treatment with the complex homeopathic preparation "Mastodynon", which is available in the form of drops and tablets for internal use. This is a herbal non-hormonal preparation, so its use does not have the consequences typical of hormonal treatment.
The drug should be taken one tablet or 30 drops twice a day. It is better to do this in the morning and in the evening. The drops can be diluted with water, the tablets are washed down with water. The course of treatment usually lasts more than 3 months and if there is no improvement during this time, the prescription should be reviewed.
Drops can be taken by all patients who do not have hypersensitivity reactions to the drug. Tablets are also not prescribed to women diagnosed with hereditary or acquired disorders of glucose metabolism.
Side effects include allergic reactions, including swelling of the throat, headaches, dizziness, menstrual irregularities, and digestive problems.
When deciding to treat adenomyosis and endometriosis with homeopathy, a woman should remember that the treatment will be long and difficult. At first, she will experience a deterioration in her condition caused by an exacerbation of the symptoms of the disease, and then the desired relief. Unfortunately, not all women are ready to accept this, so they often stop treatment when the malaise worsens, fearing complications.
