Too firm foot skin
What is too hard foot skin? These are growths from dead cells, which no longer fulfill their functions. They are on the heels, pads of the feet under the fingers and especially under the thumb. These are not just cells, but outgrowths with deep ingrowth into the skin of the foot, having the same deep roots as mushrooms. This root of the physician is called the core.
When a person steps on a hard surface, there is a load on the core, and the foot begins to ache heavily.
The disease is called keratosis. It is characterized by pain in the soles of the feet with high loads and active movement, for example, long walking or jogging.
Why does the skin of the feet harden?
So the body reacts to the load, the friction that occurs with the skin, the pressure at a time when you put on tight shoes and walk in it.
Hardening of the skin of the feet and the formation of dead cells on it can also be a reaction to obesity or, conversely, too thin a leg.
What to do with hardening on the soles of the feet?
In no case do not grab the blade and do not cut the skin yourself. This can result in leg injuries and worsening of their condition. Diabetics such a method of application is particularly dangerous. These people have poor blood clotting, so when a blade is injured, there can be irreparable consequences.
To relieve pain with hardening of the skin, you need to buy a special orthopedic shoes with insteps. It will soften pressure on the soles during walking, running or jumping.
Consult a doctor who will tell you what to do with hardening on the soles of the feet, how to remove them, without resorting to surgical methods of exposure.
Claws on legs
It's about birds, but about people for whom this can really be a big problem. A finger with a claw is a finger in which the second and third phalanx are bent. The joints of such a finger are sick, and therefore deformed.
Such a finger is called clawlike, it can cause pain to a person. When a person goes, the bent finger constantly rubs against the edge of the shoe and quickly begins to ache, the skin on it inflames.
The finger under such deformation can be fixed (this is worse) and movable (this means that the bent joints have not yet hardened in the wrong position definitively).
If the joint is still mobile, the finger can be straightened using manual methods. Then it will need to be fixed in a certain position, so that the twisted joint can return to its previous shape and stay in it.
If the joint is immobile - alas, surgical intervention will be required to repair the defect.
Fixed curved claw fingers bring pain, especially if the shoes are narrow, and even under any physical strain. Such a person does not even have the opportunity to walk, not to mention jumping and running. The help of the surgeon is necessary.
Why are the leg joints deformed?
This can be due to muscle imbalance or if the patient suffers from arthritis.
First of all, take care of comfortable shoes. It is needed to reduce the load on the foot and protect it from even greater damage. The sock in such shoes should be wide, comfortable, but not too much so that the foot does not hang when walking. This approach will immediately make rubbing of the diseased fingers much less about each other, and this will reduce the pain.
To help the sore fingers, you can use other devices besides orthopedic shoes. These may be longi, scallops - devices that help the sick fingers to stay in the correct position. Another good bandage with gel, which contains an analgesic. This will significantly reduce pain and keep the human nervous system healthier.
For a sick finger, you can also apply a protective cap, which will protect the claw-like finger from damage.
Orthopedist will help you to make a choice.
Enlarged toe (second)
The second leg is called Morton's finger. This is a common disease in which this finger protrudes above the others and prevents the correct choice of shoes, because it is difficult to guess with the size of such a deformation. After all, the place of the thumb, which is shorter than the finger of Morton, remains empty, and the place of the next toes - too. From this, all the load when walking falls on the second finger. Of course, he reacts with pain and swelling.
Even on it can appear corns even with a well-chosen shoes and small loads. And cheap low-quality shoes and even more so cause pain in the second finger, and then in the entire foot.
What to do?
Buy soft leather shoes to reduce the load on Morton's finger. This shoe should be larger by half the size or even the whole size. Then the pressure on the finger will not be so great. The sock of such shoes should be spacious enough to fit a super-large second finger and give space to other fingers.
Then the pain can significantly decrease or go away altogether.
To adjust the foot, select the correct arch support with the help of an orthopedic doctor. If the finger is deformed, you can buy a special protective cap for it. This will ease the condition.
Curved toes (one or more)
This is a common problem. The joint with such a defect is curved, it becomes painful, it swells. On the toes, especially large ones, bumps can grow. Then the shoes are difficult to pick up.
The foot becomes too wide with such deformation, and narrow shoes exacerbate the position, pressing on the fingers. They can form corns, on the soles - on the ground. Then the joint becomes inflamed, the legs (fingers) swell, hurt, the person can not walk normally.
If the first finger is sick, then the second and third receive the same load due to swelling of the joints.
If you notice that your fingers are deformed, even if it's an easy curvature, immediately consult a doctor so that the process does not become irreversible. At the beginning of the disease, the situation can still be remedied. And return the joint to its previous form. But if the disease is started, only the surgeon can help.
To the fingers and joints returned to their original shape, good orthopedic footwear with a small heel (even for men) is necessary. Aka shoes will reduce the load on the foot and fingers, especially those that are twisted.
To shoes was professional, it should have a liner made of a special material - neoprene. This insert will fix the patient's finger in the correct position. To these methods, you need to add a massage of feet and toes - a river or using a mechanical vibrator.
Exercises for the feet will also be useful. Which - the orthopedic doctor will tell you, because in each case they are individual.
If you pay attention in time to curved joints, you can change the position and stop the disastrous process within 3 months. Otherwise, only the surgeon's intervention will help you.
