Currently, the role of phytotherapy in the complex treatment of patients with peptic ulcer disease has significantly decreased, which is due to the development and introduction into clinical practice of modern highly effective antiulcer drugs. Patients are usually recommended to use herbal infusions during remission as a preventive measure or for the treatment of concomitant gastritis.
