Recreation in the spring - how to make it a success, and there was no result, recorded in the famous proverb - "no one needs rest like a person who has returned from vacation"? The answer is simple - you need to plan for rest.
A change in the situation, new vivid impressions, acquaintances, and just a distraction from everyday routine brings not only the benefit of the state of mind, but also unloads the brain tired of intensive work. Such an "upgrade" is necessary, perhaps, to all those who feel typical spring fatigue and apathy. In order to have a good rest, you do not always need to spend a large amount of money or a lot of time. Sometimes enough one week to regain strength and recharge positive. Let's consider some variants which can help to win sincere "avitaminosis", not leaving for limits of the native country.
Rest in spring in native places, in Ukraine
Rest in spring in Vilkovo
Vilkovo, a small town, which is located very close to the city-hero Odessa. This is really a unique place not only because it is called the Ukrainian Venice, the city of canals, but also for a number of other, no less interesting reasons. Vilkovo was founded by absolutely extraordinary people, most of whom were representatives of the Don Cossacks and at the same time also Old Believers - Lipovans. It was in the dunes of the Danube that they found refuge for themselves, hiding from the persecution of the orthodox church. A small settlement, named after the Lipovanskoe community, was gradually growing, and at the end of the 18th century it was given the status of a city. To the Donetsk people, the runaway Zaporozhye Cossacks also came up.
The confluence of cultures and beliefs did not prevent the city from blossoming, but the first settlers tried to consolidate their faith and still in Vilkovo more than 70% of the population adhere to strict Old Believer traditions. They zealously follow the rules of their church, men do not shave their beards, everyone, from children to the elders, wear clothes of the old style and style that were adopted two centuries ago. Of course, the rules include bans on all the delights of modern life - television, mobile communications, not to mention the Internet. Despite its categorical observance of the Old Believers' covenants and some detachment from people practicing a different faith, there has not been a single serious religious conflict in the history of the city's existence on the water. Recreation in the spring in Vilkovo is also a journey through numerous streets that can not be called streets, since they are channels that are really similar to Venetian ones. It is in the spring period that the Erica, the so-called Vilkovo canals, are particularly beautiful and full of water. In addition, the city is located in the south of Ukraine, and at a time when snow can still lie in the north of the country, fruit trees start to blossom in the city of Lipovan. At the end of March swans, pelicans, gray geese and many other representatives of birds, among which there are simply unique species listed in the Red Book, begin to return to the thickets of reeds - the marshes. Recreation in the spring in the edge of canals is also impossible without committing a popular local rite, which has no relation to any religion, but rather is a tourist tradition. The fact is that there is a zero kilometer in the city, which starts counting the river directly from the delta. The belief says that if a person can move his body through a notch with which a stone sign is decorated, then he begins his life from scratch, so to speak nullifies all negatives. Unfortunately, no one conducts statistics on the effectiveness of this "procedure", but the rite itself enjoys unprecedented popularity.
Rest in spring in Vilkovo is also an obligatory visit to the fish market, where visitors are not just a huge choice, but a staggering variety, because in the delta of the Danube there are about 100 types of commercial fish. Friendly citizens, whose number does not exceed ten thousand, the "old" city, divided by numerous canals, the "new" half of the city, the more civilized and modern, unique cultural environment, local wine and appetizing fish dishes - all in Ukraine, than not an option for a wonderful week-long rest?
Rest in the spring in the Ukrainian steppe
Those who have not tried it - strongly recommend, especially if you plan a trip to Askania Nova in the middle of the last spring month - in May. It was during this period that huge feather grass fields blossom, this spectacle is truly magnificent and unforgettable. At the same time, irises and sage blossom, as if specially for those who want to calm nerves, blossoms valerian, many other herbs and plants.
Recreation in spring in Askania is also a visit to a unique reserve - a dendrological park, a zoo and steppe open-air cages, in which endangered rare species of animals are preserved. In the clear sky over the steppe open spaces falcons, lunis, larks fly freely, American bison and other rare species of ungulates are grazing nearby, where else in Ukraine will you see the herds of horses of Przhevalsky or African antelopes? In a word, rest in the spring with health and soul benefits is Askania Nova.
Rest in the spring in the western part of Ukraine
It is always a sea of impressions. However, Transcarpathia is beautiful at any time of the year, but it is in the spring, at the end of April, almost all over the country, the flowering of atypical sakura trees begins for Ukraine. Sakura - one of the symbols of the country of the rising sun, Japan, it would seem, this tree is not able to take root in other countries. Indeed, the Japanese cherry could adapt only in the Transcarpathian climate, in some American states and nowhere else. According to legend, almost a century ago the territory of Galagov, the so-called one of the most marshy central parts of Uzhgorod, was decided to plant with sakura. The Czech government was engaged in similar accomplishment, because at that time Transcarpathia was part of Czechoslovakia. Since then, sakura has not only taken root in the local territory, but also became a true symbol of Transcarpathia.
According to the Japanese tradition, cherry blossom is not only to be admired, but also to collect the pollen of flowers in small containers filled with sake. As if such a drink is miraculous and gives the person confidence, energy, strength and health. The local residents have a slightly different way of using both pollen and cherry. Citizens believe that the one who planted cherry and will cherish her, will gain prosperity and prosperity. And pollen should be carefully collected in cups, or rather, miners filled with coffee. In addition to the sakur, tourists will be pleased with their blossoming magnolia, three species of which grows in this area. Excursions to ancient castles, tasting of local unique wines, handmade souvenirs, and, of course, the unique aroma and taste of coffee, which is a real local brand, and which is not cooked anywhere like in Uzhgorod or Mukachevo kvjarnyah. Those impressions that can provide you with a spring holiday in Transcarpathia.
Rest in the spring in Transcarpathia
Rest in the spring can continue without leaving the territory of Transcarpathia, in early May daffodils begin to blossom in a unique valley. The legend says that it was in the clear waters of the Khustets river that the beautiful Greek Narcissus saw his beautiful display. Visiting the reserve, located near the ancient town of Khust, you can enjoy the spectacle of flowering not only daffodils, but also orchids and many other plants.
About twenty years ago this area was included in the Carpathian biosphere reserve and has since been protected by UNESCO. In the valley grow more than 500 species of unique plants, more than ten of them are listed in the Red Book.
