Physiotherapy for cracks and swelling of the nipples of the mammary glands is most often carried out at home; a convenient and effective method is laser (magnetic laser) therapy.
Laser (magnetolaser) exposure is carried out using devices that generate radiation of the red (wavelength 0.63 μm) or near infrared (wavelength 0.8 - 0.9 μm) part of the optical spectrum, in continuous or pulsed mode of generating this radiation. The exposure method is distant (gap 0.5 cm), stable.
The impact is carried out with one or two fields (in case of bilateral damage) on the affected area of the nipple of the mammary gland or the entire nipple in case of edema. It is necessary to protect the pigmented area of the skin around the nipple from the impact in advance. For this purpose, screens are used, cut from medical oilcloth in the form of a circle with holes of different diameters for the nipple of the mammary gland in the center.
PPM OR 5 - 10 mW/cm 2. Magnetic nozzle induction 20 - 40 mT. If frequency modulation of OR is possible, the optimum frequency is 10 Hz.
The exposure time on the field is up to 5 minutes. The course of treatment is 5-7 procedures daily, once a day in the morning.
