Night pain can become a nightmare for everyone, because in a dream we want to rest from daily day problems, to plunge into the world of dreams, and not wake up with a cry in the middle of the night. Sometimes we even manage to get rid of discomfort with a few hours of healing sleep. However, unfortunately, this is not always the case. Unlike the day's pain, we do not perceive the nightly with all the power of our consciousness, which requires special care when choosing methods of treatment.
As a rule, these pains are a reflection of the problems that a person encounters during the day, however, at times the symptoms only increase at night. Most often, patients complain of the following types of nightly pain:
- Diseases of the back;
- Headache at night;
- Toothache at night.
So, what are the features of these "problems" and how to get rid of them?
When the joints whine
Nocturnal back pain is most common among the elderly and those whose work is associated with severe physical activity. Complaints also come from office workers who sit for eight hours in front of the monitor screen. Causes and factors are diverse, commonplace overwork is not uncommon. The type of pain is also very different: it is dull, cutting, pricking, pressing, can have a spasmodic and compressive character. Overtaking night pain can occur both in making uncomfortable movements and at rest.
If the painful sensations become chronic, do not tolerate it - contact a therapist who will immediately begin the diagnosis, usually by examining and collecting information about your feelings, condition and conditions of symptoms. Perhaps you are suffering from osteochondrosis, scoliosis or spondylosis? However, in order to minimize the likelihood of repetition of unpleasant night "lumbago" and get rid of such an unpleasant condition as night pain, follow several rules:
- try to walk in the day and sit upright,
- with sedentary work take breaks,
- Stretch your back with simple physical exercises,
- sign up for a therapeutic massage or physiotherapy.

When my teeth are not okay
It's no secret that toothache at night is not a pleasant feeling. It is very difficult to tolerate, and it is almost impossible to sleep with aching teeth. The causes of the painful sensations in the mouth are many:
- Caries - the destruction of the tooth as a result of a contaminated infection. Teeth due to this disease are gradually destroyed, the experienced night pain can be aching, blunt;
- Pulpitis is an inflammation of the tooth pulp called pulp. Especially acute unpleasant sensations with a sharp change in temperature, a combination of hot and cold food.
- Parodontosis - abnormalities in the tissues surrounding the tooth. This disease affects more than half of the world's people. Its characteristic symptoms are soreness and bleeding gums, night pain.

So allow yourself to rest at least at night!
