Such a dental problem, as uneven teeth, is solved by orthodontists, who are engaged in diagnostics, prevention and treatment of various anomalies of teeth and jaws. The technology of fixing the curved teeth with a bracket system is widely known. However, to wear braces - even for the sake of a "Hollywood" smile - few are solved, especially adults.
In recent years, a special kind of orthodontic correction of the dentition series - kapa for the alignment of teeth - has become popular. Obviously, dentists borrowed it from athletes, because the plastic cap (from the German kappe - the cap, cover, cap) reliably protects their teeth from all sorts of injuries.

Kapy for leveling teeth: correcting a defect is imperceptible to others
Orthodontic kapa for alignment of teeth (or toothbrush) is a removable patch for teeth made of silicone or thermoplastic polyurethane. Experts believe that this is a fairly effective way to make the teeth more even. In addition, the correction of the defect proceeds imperceptibly for others and with minimal inconveniences for the patient: the kapa tightly surrounds the entire dentition, is almost not felt in the mouth and practically does not interfere with talking. For the health of the gums and the state of the tooth enamel, the kapa does not pose any threat. Moreover, in parallel with the alignment of teeth, it is possible to bleach them - with the help of the formulations by which the inner surface of the kapa is treated.
Dentists recommend using dental lacerations for teeth alignment if a person, firstly, does not want to demonstrate ongoing treatment. Secondly, if the defects of the dentition are small and you can do without braces. Finally, when, after removing the braces, the teeth need to be fixed for some time in the desired position.
There are several types of cap for dentition. Standard kapes are made according to standardized sizes and not all can approach and, accordingly, help. Thermoplastic caps are manufactured from modern dental thermoplastic materials based on nylon, polyoxymethylene, polypropylene, etc.
These kaps in hot water soften and superimpose on the dentition, after which they harden. Thus, the cape takes on the individual shape of the jaw.
Orthodontic drops are made of silicone. Silicone cups for the alignment of teeth are thicker (and cheaper) than, for example, polyurethane, so wearing them during the day is not very comfortable. Doctors recommend wearing them in the afternoon for several hours and, without fail, at night. During food, as well as for cleaning teeth, they must be removed. Polyurethane bags are thinner, and the time of their continuous wearing is at least 20 hours with the removal for the meal and for cleaning teeth.
But the most convenient and, of course, expensive kapy for aligning the teeth - individual.
Individual kapy for leveling teeth
In the process of making an individual kapa, the dental impression of the tooth is processed on the computer and a three-dimensional model of the jaw is made. Thanks to the use of a special polymer, a thin transparent cap for aligning the teeth is completely imperceptible, not only in the patient's mouth, but also to the outside eye.
To align teeth, kapa "presses" on them in the right direction. After the tooth has assumed a predetermined position, the cap retains it, but ceases to be the "driving force" for further correction. Therefore, the cap should be changed: every 1.5-2 months to do a new one.
Individual transparent dentures for aligning the teeth Invisalign, developed by the American company Invisalign International (in 2000), are changing even more often - every 2-3 weeks. Each removable elainer (up to 28 drops per course of teeth alignment) during this time by mechanical pressure moves the teeth to a certain position, after which the patient changes it to the next model.
Americans do without a mold, and do a computer tomography of the jaw and create a 3D model of the patient's jaw and teeth. In this case, the patient receives a virtual treatment plan, which demonstrates how correction of uneven teeth will go and what result awaits him. It should be noted that the cost of only technical work on making a cap for one jaw in the US is $ 2,000. These kaps should be worn at least 22 hours a day, and removed only during meals. Treatment takes place under the constant supervision of a doctor.
Domestic orthodontists note that this system - despite its close fitting to the teeth - allows correcting only a slight curvature of the teeth and only if there are gaps between them. Although it is not uncommon for Invisalign caps to shorten the duration of treatment, as pressure on curved teeth occurs from all sides.
Children's kapy for leveling teeth
Dentists say that the bite in childhood can change - as long as the milk teeth are replaced by permanent teeth. Curvature of the dentition, which occurs in children quite often, doctors successfully correct.
It should be borne in mind that orthodontic correction of the dentition and occlusion in children with a bracket system makes sense after the end of the process of forming the roots of permanent teeth - at 12-14 years. To children of younger age it is usually recommended to put trainers and records. And also children's kapy for leveling teeth.
Convenient and lightweight baby feet can successfully solve the problems of unevenly growing teeth. The principle of their action and effectiveness are the same as those for adults, but they need only 2-3 hours a day - in the daytime.
Parents should know that for children, all the dentifrices for aligning the teeth are done individually - in dental clinics.

Price cap for teeth alignment
When choosing this method of correcting minor curvatures of the teeth, it is necessary to take into account the cost of such treatment and, last but not least, to really assess your financial possibilities, since this kind of orthodontic correction of the dentition can not be called accessible.
Kapy are different, and, accordingly, have different costs. So, in Ukraine the price of a cap for alignment of the teeth (the simplest ones - typical silicone) starts from 950 UAH. For one cap on one jaw and grows with increasing quality and individual production - up to 3500 UAH. And higher.
On the question of where to buy kapy for leveling teeth, experts give an unambiguous answer: exclusively in dental clinics.
