Bronchial asthma - vaccination against influenza and pneumococcal infection (hereinafter - the polysaccharide vaccine Pneumo23) is especially recommended.

Chronic lung diseases - patients with cystic fibrosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, as well as conditions fraught with aspiration, sputum congestion (epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, spinal cord injuries, mental retardation) must be vaccinated against influenza. Patients with chronic pneumonia, lung malformations, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary emphysema, etc., in addition to influenza vaccinations, must also be vaccinated with pneumococcal vaccine.

Organic lesions of the central nervous system, multiple sclerosis - patients should be vaccinated against influenza.

Cardiovascular diseases - patients, especially those with hemodynamic disorders, should be vaccinated against influenza, and people with coronary heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy should also be vaccinated against pneumococcal infection.

Diabetes mellitus - patients should be vaccinated against influenza, pneumococcal infection (Pneumo23), and epidemic mumps.

Chronic hepatitis B and C - vaccination against hepatitis A is recommended, as it is severe and causes the underlying disease to worsen. For the same reason, vaccination against hepatitis B is recommended for people suffering from chronic hepatitis C. People with chronic liver diseases (including cirrhosis) are also subject to vaccination against pneumococcal infection.

Oncohematological diseases - patients on immunosuppression should be vaccinated against chickenpox (Varilrix vaccine), as is practiced throughout the world (the methodology is presented in the relevant section).

Chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis, chronic renal failure) - it is important to vaccinate patients against influenza, hepatitis B, and people with nephrotic syndrome - also with the pneumococcal vaccine.

Immunodeficiency states, HIV infection, diseases requiring immunosuppressive therapy - patients should be vaccinated against influenza and pneumococcal infection. Vaccinations against pneumococcal, meningococcal and Haemophilus influenzae type b infection are mandatory for individuals with complement component deficiency, with functional or anatomical asplenia (including sickle cell anemia and those who have undergone splenectomy), as well as individuals with cerebrospinal fluid leakage, cochlear implants.

Metabolic diseases, hemoglobinopathies - patients should be vaccinated against influenza and pneumococcal infection.

Children infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and frequently ill children should be vaccinated against influenza and pneumococcal infection.
