Even a child knows that it is useful to move and do sports. But despite all the warnings of doctors, millions of people spend their lives sitting on the couch, watching TV or leafing through their favorite book, thereby not doing any physical activity. What is the connection between physical inactivity and constipation?

Movement is life

Even on a day off, getting someone out of the house just to go for a walk, to the gym or to the pool requires a lot of effort. And it seems that people don’t care that sports improve the condition of the heart, restore the tone of the vascular system, reduce blood density, and help get rid of excess weight.

Sports activities save from such "global" diseases as ischemic heart disease, obesity, myocardial infarction, atherosclerosis, diabetes. Let's not forget about respiratory infections, colds and viruses. And the main advantage of sports in the fresh air is an improvement in mood, vigor and freshness, which is worth envying.

Hypodynamia is where problems begin

Hypodynamia is where problems begin

Hypodynamia is a medical term that means a person's lack of mobility, i.e. sedentary lifestyle. This lifestyle is very common now. Even children now suffer from hypodynamia. And all because instead of moving more, children spend time sitting at the computer or watching TV.

What is so bad about this sedentary lifestyle? Usually, physical inactivity causes obesity, constipation, hemorrhoids and various intestinal diseases. Also, sedentary lifestyle can cause nervous disorders and psychosis.

When a person moves, all vital processes in the body occur without delays and side effects. There is no blood stagnation, the intestines function normally, and processed food quickly moves through the intestines and is easily excreted from the body. If a person neglects movement, then all processes in the body slow down, muscles contract sluggishly, toxins are deposited, and feces are poorly excreted.

Movement is one way to prevent constipation.

If a person does not move, then he gains excess weight, and he is capable of developing all sorts of intestinal diseases. Modern people spend huge amounts of money on special diet pill complexes, torture themselves with starvation and disappear for days in gyms and fitness clubs. However, it is much easier to rid yourself of all problems.

If you eat a balanced diet and keep your body in shape, then obesity and, accordingly, constipation will not bother you! You just need to walk more often, do exercises and sometimes go for morning runs, and not lie on your side in front of the TV and stuff your stomach with flour.

The connection between physical inactivity and constipation

Constipation is considered a disease of the 20th century, as it has only become so widespread in our time. This disease is considered very insidious, as it develops very imperceptibly, but affects all the working systems of the body and can cause serious complications.

The better and more comfortable a person arranges his life, the greater the probability of getting constipation. The first victims of this disease can be people whose work is associated with low mobility. This is how physical inactivity and constipation are connected.

Why do you need to move a lot?

If you move a lot, it will have a positive effect on your intestines. People suffering from hypodynamia become "victims" of constipation 3 times more often than ordinary people. In general, there can be several reasons for the formation of constipation due to lack of mobility of the body.

The thing is that people who move little weaken the entire muscular system of the body with their laziness. This can also happen to people who were trained in the past, but are not currently involved in sports. Usually, the abdominal muscles (i.e. the abdominal press) become flabby, but they participate in emptying the intestines! As a result, these muscles cannot tense up enough to increase intra-abdominal pressure and lead to defecation. Let's add to this a huge belly and excess weight. As a result, the person develops stool disorders, and, accordingly, chronic constipation appears.

Movement is the easiest way out of the situation. You do not burden your body with strong physical activity, but simply do light exercises to the best of your ability. In this way, you will protect yourself from constipation and at the same time from other intestinal problems.
