If a bacterial infection occurs, antibiotics are prescribed.
Treatment of drug allergies in childrenin the form of Lyell's syndromeconsists of hospitalizing the child in the resuscitation or intensive care unit. "Temperature protection" mode. Prescribed prednisolone parenterally in a dose of at least 5-10 mg / kg per day, antihistamines also parenterally, infusion therapy, heparin in a dose of 10-15 U / kg per hour intravenously drip, broad-spectrum antibiotics, active and anti-staphylococcal, diuretics, cardiac glycosides and (if indicated) other symptomatic therapy. Hemosorption is indicated. Sterile linen is mandatory. Sometimes the child is placed in a gnotobiological chamber.
Locally, when wet, use 0.1-0.2% potassium permanganate solution, 1% resorcinol solution, 2-5% tannin solution, 1-2% aqueous solutions of aniline dyes, and then epithelializing ointments such as solcoseryl, etc. In case of damage to the mucous membranes - warm rinses with 10% soda solution, local anesthetics. In case of eye damage - application of eye hydrocortisone ointment 3-4 times a day.
If drug allergy treatment in children is not carried out in time, the prognosis for this disease is serious, especially with severe manifestations of drug allergy and septic complications.
