Healthy gastrointestinal tract

If a person wants to be in a good mood, be productive and happy, he needs to improve short-term bowel disorders. This is necessary so that these short-term disorders do not become long-term. The process of emptying the intestines plays a very important role in the health of the entire organism. This, according to Academician Pavlov, is a very important act of reflection, which depends on many factors of a person's life.

Disorders of the act of defecation occur even in those people who eat normally and drink enough water. The cause of these disorders is a sharp change in cuisine or climate or physical activity, or emotional stress. Those people who often go on business trips are well acquainted with these circumstances.

When a person is often on business trips and his diet changes, instead of the usual menu he gets fast food or cold snacks, and this can radically affect the work of the gastrointestinal tract. Cold food cannot provide sufficient stretching of the colon and rectum, cannot cause the usual fullness of the stomach. Therefore, a person gets too weak urge to defecate and its delays - infrequent or chronic - under the condition of frequent business trips.

There is another reason for such disorders - it is the inability to go to the toilet as often as a person is used to doing in the office. For example, in trains that follow a very long route, there are long-term stops, during which it is impossible to use the toilet. And so the person suffers, cannot perform the act of defecation when the body requires it, and the next time he has stool retention.

What to do if you have problems with your stool?

If such problems arise, do not get upset ahead of time. You just need to wait. If your stool used to be regular, now it may simply be delayed. That is, the act of defecation may not occur once a day, as before, but once every two days - this is quite an acceptable norm for a healthy person. Most often, the intestines themselves are freed from feces over time.

Any person can suffer from constipation, there is nothing to worry about. But if you find that such delays occur more and more often and the intestines can no longer be emptied without the help of enemas or this process is too difficult, then you need to see a doctor to correct the work of the gastrointestinal tract.

The right diet

At first, with short-term delays in bowel movements, you can and should improve and change your diet. When you have breakfast, do not eat only buns - this contributes to constipation. It is better to replace them with a glass of yogurt or kefir, and eat buns after the stomach and intestines have started working.

Coffee on an empty stomach is also undesirable - it harms digestion. If you do not have the opportunity to eat homemade soups and borscht on a business trip, stock up on dairy products.

Sour cream, yogurts, fermented baked milk, kefir promote the work of the gastrointestinal tract and its normal emptying. Dairy products with normal bifidoflora are good for your rectum and counteract constipation.

Instead of a bun, bran bread and fresh fruit (separately) are also good. To keep your intestines working steadily, it is very important to drink plenty of liquid – this will help digest food. Especially if it is hot outside.

And here is another important piece of advice for those going on a business trip. In order to eat normally and digest food well, you need to take flax seeds with you on the road - they are light and store well. And it is also good to buy rye or wheat bran and throw them into porridge or, if you cannot eat porridge and salad, into yogurts and kefir. They have a good effect on the stomach and intestines, stimulating their work.
